Indeed. From what I have read on this site and others on the web, the victim was "a little off" in the head. Reading about the man that shot her reminded me of a program on HBO I saw several years ago about a white supremacist from Alabama named Bill Riccio (sp?). Anyway, the similarities were that he too seemed to find young people who were in crisis in their lives.
It's a sad state of affairs......

I did, and the conclusion that I came up with is that this little town is a throwback to the pre-civil rights days. I am sure there are good people there but it looks as if not much has changed since the '60's. That too bad.
I have also came to the conclusion that this man is a danger to society who needs to be put away.
