Does anyone in the Taos area know what happened to accused murderer James Armijo?
He was convicted today of first degree murder in Jefferson County, Colorado (suburb of Denver) for stabbing his ex-girlfriend Jacklyn Oetker.

Wow, this is a trip .. finding this blog regarding this puke James Armijo!! I regret that I cannot offer Rosa's son any resolution on her case - but Jackie Oetker was our very, very good friend - and "we" sat through his entire trial in Jackie's murder trial. Justly deserved - he got 1st degree murder - life W/O possibility of parole - EVER!! As horrific as it was, the absolute only consolation is that this "man" will NEVER EVER have the opportunity to take someone else's loved one out of their life! Jeff, we have all the newspaper clippings from Jackie's murder & Armijo's trial, that I would gladly scan and e-mail to you, if you'd like. To those of you inquiring about Armijo's whereabouts ... rest assure, he is right where he belongs - other than 10 feet under! and for those of you who knew Rosa as well as Jackie O ... we all miss her tons - doesn't go away with time - we will always remember her & love her! thanks ya'll
