North Dakota man rams police chief's truck - 3 times

A Northwood man was arrested today after he rammed a Geo Metro three times into the police chief's large four-wheel drive squad truck, the third time a head-on collision that wrecked the tiny car.

Yeah, but it says he's had 3 head on collisions with it. Up there in North Dakota, he might have a cut open tractor tire stretched across the front of it to use as an impact bumper.

Well I suppose driving little cars would be safe as long as you only had accidents with other little cars.

But in today's America the other car is more likely to be a ginormous SUV or pick-up.

I have a friend with an old MG convertable. It's fun, but when I ride in it with him I suddenly become very aware of just how big most of the other vehicles on the road these days really are.
