A few corrections.: Steve Markevich was not on the loose from April 2008 until now. He was actually incarcerated in “their”(Carbon County) jail from April 15th until July 19th. Why were no warrants issued or anything even said to him while he was in their custody??
I very highly doubt that there was anything slithering around the store unless it was a set up which I believe is what happened. First, this newspaper claims that the seizure of the animals was on July 22….according to police. Now, it was April 19th….according to police. As soon as it was seen that the store had been emptied out on April 21st, friends of Steve went straight to the Lehighton Police station and they were told that they knew nothing about it and that there was absolutely nothing they could do about it because it was a landlord / tenant situation. The landlords admitted that they had the animals removed. And claimed it was because the animals were sick and dying. Were all of the cages, racks, supplies and personal items taken sick and dying as well? Well, many of these animals of Steve’s were put up for sale on the internet long before permission was given by the court to do so. Many of them were also listed as proven breeders and some of their offspring was also for sale. Sick and dying animals do not reproduce like that. Steve is not in Northampton County Prison. Get the facts straight. As far as the animals being covered in feces, there had been 3 days go by in between when they were being removed and when police said they went there. I’m sure many of these animals defecated in that time period as they were very well fed on a regular basis. I would think it to be strange if none of them defecated. If the store had such a “rancid odor” and was in such shambles, then why was nothing done about it when the police were there on April 16th? I believe a lot of stuff has been fabricated in this story / case. I also do not believe that 9 snakes were dead upon arrival of the police as stated. All of the snakes at Serpents Den were very healthy, and all of a sudden 9 die in 3 days? Not likely. There is definitely something fishy with this story. |

You are as deluded as Law.
You wrote believe 3 times in your post. Belief requires no facts. Try thinking instead......oh right you are dumb (like the rest of the exotic pet owners)and likely to continue to believe regardless of your obvious deficit of perspective and reason. |
