Danny Boy, I don't think you'll see an ordinance such as the one you referred to in your post, in Nesquehoning since such an ordinance would restrict some the council memebers and the mayor's extra carricular activities.
I really think that more municipalities should look into restricting open burning. To many wildland fires in our area are started bt careless open burning.

Last careless fire was caused by Kovatch industrys which still has fires above the fourth hollow at night to burn their refuse, which is illegal. Also you can burn anytime provided you get permission from council members, that are above the ordinances they create. Also note that they dont park in the cemetary, for their secret rendezvous, but under the bridge, going to the sewar plant.
