ISLAND LIVING IS GREAT POWER OR NO POWER. PEOPLE HELP PEOPLE AROUND HERE. PEOPLE COPE WITH THE DAILY LIFE. I ALMOST WISH IT COULD ALWAYS BE LIKE THIS. FOR ME LIVE IS EASY AND SLOW AND I LIKE IT THIS WAY. NO T.V. BIG DEAL READ A BOOK. OR BETTER YET TALK TO YOUR FAMILY.

You guys should have power from the mainland on (knock on wood) by noon today (Friday 4/3/09). I have been involved in the repair of the submarine cable that supplies power to the island.
