Rip Torn gets probation in DUI case

There ya go...another case of preferential treatment for Hollyweird's finest. How come he didnt "qualify" for the same punishment the peasants would?..

Yeah, must be nice. AR is for 1st time offenders, and he, is not in that catagory. PLUS, he still gets to drive. That is usually a 90 day suspension, and w/him, it should be an automatic year. Gotta love that Star Power.....

Great job CT courts!! He is a REPEAT offender, having gotten a DUI in North Salem NY in early 2008.

What is it going to take, for him to kill someone to take away his license??

He is gonna drive drunk within two weeks.. Bet the ranch on that.

I am sure some slime lawyer said CT could hold the other two DWI over his head because they happened in NY. But bull. If it were anyone else they would hosed.

Hope the judge in this case can live with the consequences when this pathetic lush ends someone's life as a result of his his impaired driving skills.

It's amazing what people get away with because they are celebrities. Why didn't he get his license suspended like anyone else would?
