Well, we know the rest of that story. The liberal press and David Letterman sought to destroy Sarah Palin and make her the laughing stock of the United States. They may have succeeded for a time, but she is a good person and good wins over evil. At least good always wins in the old Westerns I watched as a child. But, now that they have slandered her what do we have? Well, we have Joe Biden for president. Katie Curic would not even have to ask him a hard question much less try to come up with one that most people would not know. She could have asked if the sky was blue, and he probably would have gotten that wrong. On the other hand if she asked Obama if the sky was blue, he would have said, no, it is green and we will make everything green and give everybody free greenbacks, and this will cost 100 trillion. Then he would have added that we were broke, but mentioned that every homeless person would have health insurance and drive a cadilac under his administration. Now, I am sure anyone reading this thinks what a fairytale being posted. But, scary as it is America is now living in a fairy tale with everything a false bubble or with a false bottom. The bottom will fall out, so get your canned goods ready. I am. In four years I will not be able to post this as it will be illegal.

the Press was just doing their job..
as was David Letterman, it his job to make fun of people who in the spotlight, of any sort...
Hell, with all the Osama Bin Laden jokes Letterman has said, it wonder that Al Quida hasn't decide to go after Letterman or Leno, or O Brian, or Furgerson, or Kimmel...
Really, Sarah palin can't take a joke, or can she??? Anyhow I respect Palin myself, I think she a fresh face on the Republican ticket....
But as i'll say now and sure i have said before, just with the right grooming Sarah palin will make a valueable canidate in 2012 or 2016... probally and most perferably 2016?

Palin is a joke.

But with the right entourage she could be a great canidate??? maybe take more of a bi-partison route... add a few democrat and independents to her campign circle

I think she can take a joke but it is hard for her to ignore that motherly instinct when it comes to her 14 year old daughter.

you might be right,when it comes to motherly and even fatherly instincts, one has to question one means to an end, thus Letterman joke although i perfectly see nothin wrong with it, a mother or father may being it her job to protect... but when you the first family of Alaska, and is in the news all the time, isn't much else to talk about!!

I don't watch Letterman but I saw the clip of his telling the joke and I didn't like it all. I didn't like it even more when I learned that it was the 14 year old daughter who was at the ball game with Sarah. Evidently, Dave didn't know it either and why he made the joke. Unfortunately for him, it backfired. Now, as a subject for thought, why is he still on the air when Imus was fired for less?
