On the very same day that Vierbacher et al. declare to the media (in a company press release by the way -- check the website) that there will be no forced layoffs, two departments at the Great Valley, Pa research site (among other layoffs at the site) were told they would be out of jobs by year's end. Chris, how do you spell "INTEGRITY"?

Chris, I don't know of any people in that room who volunteered. How do you spell "INTEGRITY"?

They're French.

They could care less what you or I think.

And, I assure you, they do not care about anything beyond personal status.

I worked for SA for 17 yrs. They got rid of me several month ago after I had the audacity (which by the way is one of their company values)to make an issue of being overlooked for a promised promotion after returning from a second recurrence of cancer. I went from 16 yrs of exceptional reviews to being put on a very subjective performance plan, and then terminated. This from the 3rd largest pharmaceutical company in the world and a maker of several oncology drugs. This used to be a wonderful company that actually cared about their employees and their custmers. Now the only thing they are interested in is $$$$$ Viva La France

^^ They don't understand the US system at all. That includes our courts.

I think you should get a good attorney.

I hope you're well after your last round.

Oh, by the way, they ARE interested more than personal status -- They tend to have full employment for the French employees. A layoff in France is virtually unheard of, because it is too much of an embarrassment.

See how that works? It is an embarrassment personally, that's why it is not done.
