I have to wonder why the poor mom's address had to be included in the article?

Why was a Tatamy Police Officer so involved with this 50 miles from that little borough? With the release of the Pocono 500, there were plenty of Troopers in the area? Something seems fishy here?

Why are all you people against the mother? How do you know what the family life was like? Maybe he was a horrible abuser. Maybe he beat her and his kids. Maybe he deserved to be killed. I don't get it. She isn't the one who kidnapped the kid unlawfully. The father did it all himself. Whats the matter with you people? Seems to me he got what he deserved.

What would you have done? Be realistic. This is a terribly sad situation for everyone involved. Must be nice to sit on the sidelines and judge !

Give me a break, she had three children with this man. He must not have been that bad. If she was tired of him for what ever reason, she should have divorced him with a much more mutual agreement where she, he and the children would have been all happy.

I see first hand how women love to play mind games and using the children as pawns... I have seen grown men cry because they can't see their children and all the games that are being played....

And men play then too....

I can not believe how heartless some of you people can be. Do you realize that this boy is forever damaged? Yes I know it takes two but how can anyone even start putting this mother down. I can't even imagine if my ex husband took my son at gun point, that in itself is horrifying. You should really be ashamed of yourselves but god forbid it ever happens to someone in your family, how would you react. Don't judge until you can actually say you have walked in the same shoes as someone. God Bless these families they are suffering so much & to be so heartless just amazes me.

Nowhere does the article say she was thankful they killed her ex. She was thankful they saved her son. Dude crossed the line and paid the ultimate price. He had no regard for his son's safety. What does that tell you?

Because Cpl Lahovski is an idiot.

He shouldn't have been involved. But his chief, being from a small, po-dunk department, will savor his self-proclaimed hero status and not fire him, like the Bethlehem Township Police Dept did.

Lahovski is a wanna be. He was fired once for trying to be a hero, hopefully gets fired again. This good should be stocking produce at Aldi's.........

How do you know those children were concieved by consent and that he wasn't forcing himself on her.... It can happen I know of someone who got her tubes tied to prevent her husband from getting her pregnant because he was in essence raping her.... Always 2 sides to every story.

I pray for all the children involved in this tragedy.

WHAT POOR MOM? she is scott free now..gets her ex's insurance.. and any other monies he had ...hopefully he changed his dependents on his claims for someone who cared about him and not his kids or ex.
I bet you she has already been contacted by some low life lawyer about filing a wrongful death lawsuit.

Question: What is the difference between a lawyer ans a leach?

Answer: The leach stops sucking your blood after you are dead.

Is this officer named Fred Lahovski the same ex-officer who worked for Bethlehem Twp and who was then let go for an "unknown disability".

Why is he working as an officer in another area while collecting money from Bethlehem Twp.???

She's thankful the police saved her son's life, she is an idiot! When did they save the child's life, before or after all the bullets they fired at his dad? How many of you would like to witness your dad being shot at and then killed?
