there are a lot of good ohp troopers but there are some high on them selfs you would think if they go to a cafe or food place and get there drinks free and eats they could tip the girls that wait on them . the ones in claremore any way

Reality check follows:
During above incident, numerous police agencies responded to handle this emergency situation. They all played an important role. From the dispatcher, to the officers, to the medics, to the doctors.... you get the point. The above mentioned may very well have disarmed and cuffed this crazed soul but who do you think took him down? URGENT NEWS FLASH: 4 extremely brave Mayes County Sheriff deputies risked it all, by all I mean life and limb, to stop this idiot before more lives were taken. With no second chance to get it right, they rushed the scene, engaged in a gun battle worthy of a scene in a movie, and stopped the threat. Other agencies secured the perimeter and hit behind their cars, during the shoot out, until MCSO deputies took him down.
I do not wish in any way to discredit the officers in this story who were honored, it is well earned and deserved. However, valor, bravery, and markmanship awards should be given out to the 4 men who actually stopped the shooter. I just don't find it that difficult to take a gun away from an unconscious man, and I hear they're easy to cuff when they can't move as well.
I'm just saying...a lot of families could have lost so very much more that fateful day had it not been for MCSO.
Finally, thank you to all agencies involved in this and so many other life and death situations you handle for your communities daily. There is no award on this earth big enough to truly honor emergency service workers.

Why would they award them for doin heroin?

The entire story sometimes does not get told. Trooper Lambert is a hero to all of us in our community. Not only did he put himself in harms way that day but he diverted the gunman away from innocent civilians and warned other law enforcement officers of the danger. The situation could have been much worse than it was if Trooper Lambert had not been there that day. Thank you to both of these Troopers - you are hero's in our eyes!!

WHAT -- No I was not there that day and am not a peace officer. But I could have lost the most meaningful man in my life that day.
