No matter what culture, or religion you are, if you want to have the benefits of your community, and be a part of society in general, you have to follow the its rules, AND pay the consequences if you dont.
I know of no cherokee rule, or religious precept, that demands that a man or boys hair must be long. It may be traditional, like eating turkey on Thanksgiving, but not a rule, or law. |
