I assume "SHARP" stands for "Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice"? I am aware of the difference, mostly from working in law enforcement over the years. Traditional Skinheads are not anything like what the general public thinks of when they hear the word "Skinhead".(you could have presented these facts btw, instead of "get your facts straight" which is only going to put people on the defensive. Dude, I never said I was upset, I stated that I missed the whole thing b/c I went the following night. A friend of mine was there, standing behind the guy and people were upset b/c he was acting like a cranked up asshole. He was asked to put on a tshirt before he got on a ride and he refused. He stated he did not get why people would be upset by a "skinhead" tattoo. Honestly, people were more upset that he was acting like a dick, in front of little kids. HE assumed people were pissed about his skinhead tatt. They might very well have been, but that wasn't what started it. Considering he also had racist tatts, I am going to assume he was "Bonehead Nazi Scum".
You obviously do care what side he is on, otherwise, you wouldn't have posted "nobody should be upset by Skinhead tatts". If I was a Traditional Skinhead, this guy would piss me the hell off, b/c he is making the rest of you look bad. So, what was your point exactly? Also, thanks for at least knowing the difference. We'd apprectiate more people like you. I wear the label skinhead proudly, and usually have no problem explaining the difference to people.(The term skinhead reggae is fun to spin peoples heads with...)

Anon- yep, it is. No one can take away your tattoo, but if you walk around flashing racist tatts, it is well within a person's right as an American to "give a crap" ie: have an opinion on it. You can wear a swastika and burn the American flag, but don't expect people to look the other way and not care.

The issue was not the dude's skinhead tatt as much as it was him being an asshole and creating a disturbance in the middle of a carnival full of kids. No one told him to cover his tattoo b/c some people found it offensive. That would have been wrong and "unAmerican".
