I wish they would just pick Halloween, but for 35 years plus, Waynesboro has always had thier trick or treat on the Tursday before Halloween. I guess since Halloween is on Saturday, they are reconsidering it.

When is Fort Loudons trick or treat night. I went up last year on the night of mercersburgs and it was completely BARE!!

In Ocean County NJ, they usually have a big Halloween Parade in Toms River (the county seat) on Halloween night which a lot of folks like to attend so they sometimes say that trick or treating will be the night before so nobody misses out on either event.

I hear ya. The Thursday thing is bizarre. Up in the Harrisburg area, they held ToT on Thursday again this year, despite Halloween falling on a Saturday.

I'm also still trying to get used to the food, decorations and colloquialisms (wtf does "red up" your room MEAN??)
