...how is this JetBlue's fault? Anyone, anywhere, anytime can go "off"! Of course a crazy pilot would scare the passengers but not sure how the employer is liable for his mental health issues.

As defense counsel for JetBlue I will argue it's the whiny passengers who drove the pilot off his rocker in the first place.

It's JetBlue's fault because they should certain be responsible for the physical and mental health of all pilots employed by them just as they are for the maintenance of all airplanes owned by them.

Not sure exactly what their compensatible damages are.

If they were made to feel afraid perhaps the airline should give them each a lollipop...

No one checks to see if you are fit to drive a car except EVERY ump-teen years. Are you willing to pay for this in your ticket price? I did'nt think so...sit down eat you Blue Chips and STFU. BTW since you are so FOND of intervention..no more cocktails for you, you appear intoxicated after ONE and the blue chips have gone straight to your hips! Lose some weight or fly freight. Oh and your fridge is now programed to cut you off after 800 calories. Silly fat American POS.

1)I have NO misplaced anger, or low self-esteem...oh and I have a job do you, besides being a housewife? If so nothing wrong with either. Where I was going, before you tightened you OWN chain was: The average cost for an airline to do something as simple as urinalysis is up to $600.00 on the rare and RANDOM occasions they are performed. For an airline employee to be tested by a psychiatrist once or even twice a year for the purpose of their job would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and would have to be paid for with a ticket price increase. In the American Walmart, cheaper and more is better society, not QUALITY, as demonstrated via the American public and their desire for such as well as scripted "reality" shows and the rewarding of outlandish behavior, it is doubtful. If you ARE willing to pay a higher ticket price for such you are in a miniority and the loss of business would lead to the demise of Jetblue or ANY other aircarrier besides cutting into the golden parachute of management. So with that said...please loosen your chain. Your fun...I will look for you.

Actually, to ensure the mental and physical health of the person operating the plane or jet that I or my loved ones are flying on, I would be willing to pay more.
And why couldn't you simply have said your point of view intelligently and with reason - obviously you are capable of it - instead of being so aggressive and vulgar towards someone you don't even know?

I don't find that personal attacks really add much to discussion, even in the Topix forums. Sure we have fun with the articles, but the hostility you displayed towards me was simply over the top.

Keep looking for me, you'll get back what you give.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Taurus

You have a very high opinion of someone today. In fact, you're really impressed with them and you'll probably sing their praises to anyone who'll listen. If you meet someone for the first time now, you'll be very impressed and this will never change throughout your relationship. But try not to idealize them into something they're not.
