I completely agree with their racist views, but not with their religious views.

But don't they go hand in hand? Jesus was white, after all.

First of all, Jesus was not white, He was not black. He was a Hebrew. You need to read the Word and get a clear understanding. We all will held accountable for what we say about Jesus, so my advice to both of you is to be careful. Second of all, it is sad that the two of you are even having this conversation. But you know what? It very common for this area of Texas...and yeah, as a strong African American woman, I can say that it would be very benificial for the two of you and the KKK to stand clear. I gotta give it to you though, you all seem to have most of the black community in it's place around here, but you know what? I'm not from here. I'm from a place where not matter what your race is, your proud to be exaclty what God made you to be. But hey, keep it real in that Amarillo--Panhandle fashion!!!

Relax Mrs. Brown. Its sarcasm on both ends, I assure you. We're making luight of the situation by poking fun of the KKK and what it believes and represents. We don't want them here.

Yeah. Tough thing about the internet. You can't show facial expressions or voice tones. We could have gone on forever with that.

No, the KKK uses religion as a base of thier views, and while I do agree with some of thier protests, such as illegal immigration, I do not agree with 99% of thier beliefes.

Yeah, the problem is, they use their religion to back their belief.

They left their cards at the place I worked. After purchasing several things they left the card saying your business has been patronized by the Ku Klux Klan. This was about 10 years ago.

Wow, a business card just to let someone know that they've had the pleasure of serving the KKK? I'd give them a free shirt with a target on the back.

My bad, my bad. And yeah, even I can agree that illegal immigration is a bit of a problem. To be honest the KKK seems to be one of the only organizations that will make some real noise about it. As a member of the Christian community, I have witness the tongue in cheek responce to that whole situation because we soooo don't want to "offend" any one. But I just wanna say what God love, and dat's tha truth: If your gonna be here in America, U NEED 2 BE LEGAL!!! Shoot, the first thing they did with my ancesters when they brought us over here on ships and boats is made us legal!! I don't know why it should be different for anyone else! I don't however understand how religion can play any part in the KKK's beliefs since God is Love yet they seem to be so full of hate. It's not like they aren't totally wrong about the immigration topic, but it is totally possible to be truthful w/o being hateful...don't you agree???

It is a shame that people in this country can not just call themself's americans and leave it at that. Why does there have to be White/black/mexican---American s??? Can we not just be Proud to be American and work together to stand up for the things that are right in this country and strike down the things that are bad. illegal immigration is a huge problem that is not getting fixed here! The KKK is not the way to fix anything, it sickens me to see that things that are happening around all of us and we seem to be to busy allowing ourself to be removed from being Americans to being a list or everything but Americans! And this is not just a Panhandle problem, Its a problem all over this country, When you set asside whole communitys and call them black communities, White communities, Mexican communities it makes me sick! Why not be one community as we once was One Nation under God!

A bit of a problem? It's a HUGE problem, and it needs to be dealt with.

Yes, they are. They make a lot of noise about it. When a group as famous as the KKK does, well, just about anything, people know about it. Them continuing to operate under the name KKK helps keep them in the spotlight.
Dorothy Brown wrote:

No, it's not. That's YOUR belife, and there are many who don't share it. Me included.

Are you kidding?

“The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.”-Richard Dawkins

Wars have been waged over religion. Hitler justified what he did with religion. Arab pilots flew planes into the world trade center because of religion. Do I need to go on?

No, I don't agree. It's time to stop worrying about who we're going to offend. It's time to stop worrying about who has the right to do what. It's time we got the illegals OUT of this fuck!ng country! Like right now. And if it takes being "hateful" so be it.

Wetwired. It is people like you who do not get it now, nor will you ever understand that this country was build by men who DID understand what it took to build a great nation. If you do not like it then you can also move away from this Nation, One Nation under GOD! This country, this melting pot, This United States of America, may just be better without people like you within it tearing apart everything it was build upon! You chip away at the mortor and you will have it all fall upon you!

And I suppose your kind, you know, the grown men and women who still have imaginary friends, fill their childrens heads with images of satan, lakes of fire, stories of people coming back from the dead like zombies, and informing them that if they don't "do good", by believing in that crock of supernatural bullshit, they'll end up on those lakes of fire, being harassed by satan and essentially be tormented for all eternity, are better then us non-believers? Is that what you're telling me?

Let's see what these founding fathers have done for us. They've built a nation run by people who actually believe that snakes can talk, everything was blinked into existence by an all knowing god and that the earth is only 4000 years old.

They've built a nation that is known globally for it's stupidity, self centered, egotistical, believe what we believe or you're a moron mentality.

They've built a nation where what you're going to wear to school is more important than what you're going to LEARN in school. They've built a nation where parents complain about their children being taught FACT rather than the fiction that they believe, and they've built a nation that can't seem to keep it's nose out of the business of other nations.

Way to go. I'm sure proud to be called an american.

Is that the best you can come up with you brain dead twat? Newsflash idiot, this is not your country. Those founding fathers also gave us the seperation of church and state, along with freedom of speech. You can cram it with walnuts, ugly. I'll own your stupid ass every damn time. Don't even start to think you could ever be considered my peer.
