I personally think that its a great thing that wrestlers have their family come to shows, I for one do not have the benefit of a family that comes to shows.
ROW and WWA work together for the benefit of all of the wrestlers in the area. No one can dispute that.

TOMORROW NIGHT! 200 N. Lincoln, the WWA welcomes World Wrestling Entertainment Developmental Trainer, Dr. Tom Pritchard! With well over 20 years of experience, numerous regional and national titles to his credit, Dr. Tom brings his experience and knowledge to Amarillo to help bring a seasoned eye to the development of the hardest working roster in Amarillo, the West-Texas Wrestling Association!

Currently the Head Trainer for WWE's developmental system and Florida Championship Wrestling, Dr. Tom will be holding a two day seminar in The Warehouse. TO ALL LOCAL WORKERS IN AMARILLO AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS: If your goal is to be the best you can be, to learn the tools to get to the real dance, which is WWE... if you are serious about being PROFESSIONALS there is no place else you can be this Saturday and Sunday than in the Warehouse, learning from a man who has been TO THE DANCE!

Seminar begins at 9AM, Saturday morning, running till 4PM. Sunday's Seminar is the same time frame. The cost for both days combined is only $75, less than $40 a day! Most seminars with far less experience individuals cost upwards of $50 for much less time. This is an amazing deal.

Currently over 20 individuals are signed up to participate and calls are still coming in from all over the 5-State Area.

(C) Chad Thomas w/ Tony Estep defeated Dameon Blood by pinfall after the lights went out following a Dameon Blood piledriver on Thomas. A loud thud was heard and when the lights came back on, a masked individual was seen running through the curtain and Thomas' arm was covering Blood for the pin.

A loud and rowdy crowd last night witnessed the debut of a match that will be talked about for many, many months to come: STEEL WATERFALL!

The WWA's monthly Monday Night Massacre event delivered another huge innovative concept match to keep its streak going, as the fans continue to chant, "MASS-A-CRE, MASS-A-CRE"... and we thank them for their enthusiasm!

Tony Morales started the evening off by out witting and out wrestling both members of Ground Zero, Pierce Price and Greg Waller, in back to back matches as part of 3 Stages of Hell. Both of the younger and less experienced wrestlers tried to use weapons to their advantage, but Morales was able to circumvent the weapons and get by the duo with WRESTLING! Then Morales & Chad Thomas tried to pull a fast one, as Thomas apparently paid off Jordan Calubs to take his spot in the third stage of the match. Morales tried to lay down and give Thomas the title he tried to destroy last month, when Rick Elsey, the Executive Director came out and put a stop to it. Rick then chose to punish Morales by announcing that his Massacre championship would be on the line all night long, as long as someone could pin him for it! Rick then upped the ante as well by making Steel Waterfall a tag team match! Instead of Thomas vs. Dameon Blood as scheduled, it would now be Thomas & Morales vs. Dameon & a partner of Rick's choosing! Before the duo could leave, Mark Wilson came out to inform Thomas that he will be facing him next Saturday, August 16th and told Thomas to bring everything he had, because Wilson expects to walk out the NEW WWA Champion!

The next match of the evening was to feature El Gringo Loco vs. Lillith, but former La Migra member and extremely popular WWA newcomer, Benny Benitez came from the crowd and demanded to be put into the match to get his hands on Gringo. Rick gave him his wish and the match become a Hardcore Rules Three Way. Gringo & Benny would end up brawling out, following a nasty shot from Gringo which busted out Benny's two front teeth. Left by herself with Jason Gore calling for the bell, Lillith was demanding to be announced the winner, when LOBO the Clown made an unscheduled apperance. He tried to get Lillith to dance with him, but she wouldn't. LOBO made the mistake of putting his hands on Lillith and she shoved him. LOBO then nailed Lillith with a nasty trash can shot that laid her out. LOBO pinned her and was awarded the match, much to the delight of the fans! Hey, its Massacre ok...

Rick Elsey announced that Preston James would be challenging Chad Thomas at Extreme Warefare 2 on September 27th!

Mark Wilson defeated SPAM in the next match-up with a devestating super-kick to the jaw following 10 plus minutes of beating at the hands of the larger brawler.

Finally the Main Event came, which saw Rick ELsey name Violent V as the partner of Dameon Blood and then up the stakes again by placing Preston James as the special guest ref! During the match, which saw some of the most innovative uses of thumbtacks seen in a long while, the Massacre Championship changed hands a record number of 7 times 8 as all four participants traded the belt back and forth, including special ref Preston James! The end of the match came as V & Thomas were brawling on the outside, and Morales laid out Dameon and pulled the crod to release the Waterfall of over 20,000 thumbtacks which came down onto Dameon like a sheet of silver! Morales was then rolled up by surprise as SPAM captured the Massacre title and ran off. As Morales got up, Dameon sat up out of the sea of tacks and proceeded to choke-powerbomb Morales into the pile and gain the pin for the win!

After the match as Thomas and Morales were helped to the back, Dameon & V celebrated with the fans as the chant of "MASS-A-CRE, MASS-A-CRE..." continued.

WWA’s hard-hitting, backyard style of pro wrestling may appeal to a younger crowd like Daniels, which is something executive director Rick Elsey is proud of.????

They're words, not mine. When the media are speaking of hardcore action which you deglected to mention was in the next sentence, what do you think they are going to print.

And how many stars of today and influencial stars of the last 10 years came out of the dreaded back-yard... wow.

And hilarious that you'd use Dr. Tom as the name on the post. Dr. Tom didn't think our product was backyard in the slightest. He was very pleased with what he saw. but if you weren't there how would you know.

Until PWF actually brings in a real name and delivers it, and until PWF brings in someone with the clout of Dr. Tom to even view their "talent", or until I see PWF's guys names on indy shows around the state, PWF can take their "territory system" and stick it. Until something actually gets done, its all just talk. When we tell our guys the truth and we deliver on what we say we are. The only reasons anyone of our guys work their shows is to get a second payday in one night. So as long as PWF is willing to keep spending money, that is their issue.

Tony Morales defeated Preston James to become the NEW Unified Texas Champion, with the help of Chad Thomas. Executive Director Rick Elsey then set-up Morales' first defense that same night against Preston James!

Enemy defeated El Gringo Loco to earn a WWA Tag Team Title shot for he and his partner, Raul Torrez of South Texas Death Ride, against La Migra at Extreme Warfare 2 on September 27!

WWA Champion, Chad Thomas defeated Vash Heartly.

Preston James regained the Unified Texas Championship from Tony Morales!

Mark Wilson defeated Rexx Reed.

Violent V & SPAM fought to a non-decision in their Street Fight, when the battle left the building and went out into the street before disappearing into the night. Executive Director Rick Elsey declared that these two individuals wil not be allowed to compete against one another or have any further contact until Extreme Warfare 2!

In the Main Event, Dameon Blood defeated Brian Blade, who then attacked and pummelled Dameon after the match, only to be run off by the chair and 2X4 weilding Ground Zero! After saving their friend Dameon, the duo gave him a receipt from last week's Handicap Match by delivering a devestating double leg sweep and spin kick combo, sending Dameon to the mat.

Next week's event, August 30th:
Dameon Blood vs. Jordan Calubs.
