we at floral hills were deeply saddened by the act of distruction on a grave marker we contacted the manufacturer Mathews Bronze in Pittsburg and they have agreed to pay half the cost of the damaged marker and floral hills memory gardens is going to pay the other half. The new marker should be here in app 2-3 weeks. We have received many phone calls from caring people who wanted to contribute and although we appreciate the offers and it shows there are still many loving people who even in these trying times want to help, we have taken care of the family and they will have a new marker at no expense to them, again floral hills thanks everyone for their concern and compassion
You are all very special people. God bless you for your large and caring hearts.

What a pathetic worthless piece of trash. They should puplicize his name, face and address so people can pay him in kind. I hope this kids parents, friends and employer step up and tell him what they think of him and his actions.

What ever happened to making a criminal pay restitution? Instead of letting him post bail, make his sorry a** pay the full cost of replacing the headstone PLUS damages for pain and suffering inflicted on the girl and her grandmother.

This is sickening these are the people that we should hold grudges against if any...4 years difference in ohio by law is legal but his actions afterwords should place him on a most wanted list...becouse not only did he attempt to date a minor but he acted out against them this is the scum that give's peadophilia and ebephilia the terrible name it has today that people fear....It used to be a very delicate thing to presue a child in such a manor...which is why it wasent talked about as often and as with as much hate as it is today....i hope this punk is treated with the same disrespect he gave that girl and her families tombstone...

Yes, in no way condoning what he has done; BUT, please understand this girl isn't innocent nor too far behind him in the 'mental' category...SO, what I am saying they are the same age when it comes to their mentality. She had dated him for a while and she had continued to play the 'mind games' that so many people do with each other once they call it quits. She truly is as much guilty as he is. She knew most of all about all the negativity going on in his life and continued to call him constantly, ask him to buy her stuff, etc. Heck for all we know, she told him to do it. SOOOOOO, hang her **** TOO!

Doesn't matter what drove him to it. If I acted out in response to every 'mind game' that was played against me, I'd be in prison for life by now. It's called personal accountability. Not sure what tests you ran to officially determine that the 21 year old is the same mental age as the 17 year old. Sounds to me like either a troll, or a friend /family member of the perpetrator. So yea, lets punish the victim again, because somehow she was asking for it. Sounds like diminished mental capacity may run in the family.

WTF? Why would this girl tell him to destroy her mother's grave site? Sounds to me like you all have a blaming others problem. This guy made a poor error in judgement. Do I think she could have just left him alone? Sure. But she's 17 and he's 21...he could have made the decision to blow her off. He made the choice to break the law.

Despite the fact that he some how knew this girl before the act of vandalism does not excuse him. Although if you would find some background on him you would discover he failed, or was held back a couple of years because of a lack of mental stability and more. He believed he had found love with her, a bit before she was seventeen, and his response to rejection was this. Nothing that isn't logical, or unheard of from someone who believes in love. Although I know him, and love their family, I find it hard to find the need to watch him suffer too much. He deserves what he gets, possibly more, but his pain benifits no one, so who besides the bothered would want to cause him pain? I know what happened, and it's the girls' fault as well.
