Lehigh Acres Live was brought online approximately three years ago. She has exceeded all my expectations. At times it has been a roller-coaster ride, but all in all it was a rewarding experience for my lovely wife and I.

We have made many new friends, and others have found friends in their neighbors here. It is now my decision that I retire Lehigh Acres Live. My goals are to spend more time with my family and hitting the road and exploring our great nation.

I want to thank all the administrators and moderators who helped make Lehigh Acres Live such an incredible success.

I ask that you stay involved with our great community of Lehigh Acres. I am sure I will bump into many of you at local meetings and events.

Thanks for all your support! You have made my dream come true!!

I heard that LAL is being sued and Darnell had no other choice then to close down LAL to save face!

Sued by who? An for what?

LAL is/was not being sued nor is/was Darnell being sued. Mr. Jordan does not need to save face for any reason

It's a shame that some people aren't capable of conducting themselves as civilized citizens. You know who you are so I won't waste the keystrokes on your pitiful names. Mr. Jordan and those who assisted with the website are upstanding members of the community unlike some.

Additionally, it is amazes me how Barrett and Anderson keep talking about Darnell.

In my opinion, they just wanted to have the life successes this man has experienced. It is too bad it can never happen.

I have it on very good authority that it is neither and IRS problem or a lawsuit. If you have a question I suggest you go straight to the source. That is what intelligent people do.

How do I keep getting dragged into this?
For starters I am the one who decided to not work on the Weed and Seed project. It was a freebie job to begin with and once I caught wind of the amount of political infighting involved in it, I chose to step down.

Also, why do you keep lumping me in with Barrett and Anderson? I have reiterated several times that I have no real involvement with either.(I met Mr. Anderson twice, both times while he was in charge of the WnS website project. Other than that I dont even know the man. As for Mr. Barrett, yes I host his site on my server, as I do several other sites. It is a simple business transaction, just like every other site that I have built. In todays economy, you do not turn away customers.)

As for Mr. Jordans site... Well, it is actually a shame he decided to step down, but if he dealt with a fraction of the BS I am seeing here, I am not surprised that he did. One can only deal with this level of idiocy for so long before needing a break.

Omg man, I had no idea. No wonder I have been getting 404 error. I heard he was stepping down, but to retire the sitte? He just recently named new mods in the forum. I wish I would have gotten an email on this. This really sucks that LAL was closed. I'm missing the site already. So many helpful members. I had gotten a lot of problems solved from many of the members. Special thanks goes to Damon Shelor for the assistance in helping me figure out how to get rid of those blasted pepper trees.

I'm sorry that you (Darnell) could not keep LAL up and running. I can see much of the reason why you just couldn"t deal with the crap from Robert Anderson & Anthony Barrett. Yeah, what a real piece of work you 2 are. Trashing LAL and Darnell Jordan. Devious monsters who terrorized the good and never let up. How could you do that? Evil I say! A.P. Barrett, LAY OFF Darnell Jordan. Cant we have some peace around here without you running your mouth full throttle?? Cripes. As for LAL, I would hope that someone could take the site over and bring it back to life. The community of Lehigh Acres needs a site like that.

Bubba, who are you? Are you on Robert and Anthonies side? I wasn't putting the blame solely on them two for LAL'S failure, but they certainly didn't help. The constant attacks from Robert Anderson over at the News Press forum... I'm sure that really did a lot of good.
