Mr. A is still in Altus, working tirelessly(and without pay)to find a "White Knight" for QMA. Too late. At this point potential investors, if any, are circling slowly overhead, waiting for a bankruptcy filing.

I've been wondering what has become of those Wall Street Cowboys, Don Anderson and Paul Doughty? First I heard they were together working on Wall Street, then I heard they were out in Colorado? They both seem to have left Altus rather abruptly. I always thought Don was a better chef than he was a finance guy, maybe he is opening a restaurant someplace? He sure knew how to cook.

Max didn't care about anyone but HIMSELF! He was the one that issued checks to his employees in Coffeyville. Max was one of them, and he apparently had you fooled. I worked in the office, I heard many things people on the floor did't. screwedQMAmgt wrote: I worked for QMA. This place basically went down hil-l because of Mark Arcierio. While he was building his $300,000 house in town other employees were led to believe this was a thriving business. That was going to be putting out 12 to 15 planes a week and expansion after expansion. The second joke that walked through the door was a has been by the name of Mike Rainey who is as two faced as they come. The only person who really cared and put forth an effort was Max Trimmell. He wanted the numbers and was doing it until he was ordered to back down from putting out the number of planes that was needed to excel. I am so glad I am out of that big ole mess in that horrible windy part of the state. It was like hell there and working there was also a hell as well as one big lie.

I'm curious to know who Agent Orange is..... I worked at QMA until the layoff, also had a child then was told my insurance was no good..... pretty sad but I've survied. John was a great boss, I miss him. What they did to him was wrong, Mark just screwed the place....pocketed what he could I guess.... Tickedoffluscombeinvestor wrote: Tsk, Tsk, Angent Orange, You're not ranting at the person you think you are. He would not stoop to respond to your unwarrented, erroneous, personal attacks. Eagle Scouts never lie. The person you hate absolutely bent over backwards for you, many times. He gave you chance after chance after chance, and learned from his experience with you that one should never hire a person through a head hunter. You were a disruptive prima dona, paranoid, and I can see why you have never lasted long at any job. The tantrams you throw and never seem to remember are bizarre and frightening. The people that had to work with you at QMA were so releaved when you left. You kept the whole place stirred up all the time you were there for no good reason other than your ego. I am sorry that you are so unhappy. I really wish you well. I hope you find some help with your anger issues. You might be interested to know that John Daniel has been gone from QMA since Oct. 2007. When he left they had money in the bank and were well on their way to making a go of it. The BOD and new management were the ones who drove it into the ground. Your anger is missplaced. QMA has worked out for nobody. Doughtys lost their bank because of it. Many people have lost their retirement, their insurance, everything. And you are still angry over being asked to leave after being there a couple of years, in which you caused a lot of trouble for everyone. Your boss gave you so many chances to get your act together because he thought then and does now, that you are very talented individual...but with personality problems. He did things for you he never did for anyone else. Why not give a thought to the people at QMA who have lost so much more than you ever did, to the one who found out her health insurance had been cancelled due to the company not paying the premiums while she was in the middle of cancer treatments. Give a thought to people who worked there from the beginning, like Jerry McCluskey, who paid the electric bills in the early days, and was never reimbursed, and died penniless. Give a thought to someone other than yourself. There are a lot of us who have lost nearly everything. Think of the people who worked out there for months with no pay, no insurance, no nothin'. You don't even know what has gone on there for the last two years, how many people have been hurt. You're a piker compared to them. Get some help.

Hi Former Employee, I know who you are. I know who Agent Orange is, too. Your employment with QMA overlapped his so you can probably figure out who he is. Angent Orange was a serious malcontent who thought he was the only one at QMA who ever did a day's work. He is also the one who, reportedly, moonlighted for other companies while on paid medical leave from QMA. John let him get away with that among other infractions of company policy, so I'll never understand what his beef is with JSD. I wouldn't put too much stock into his ravings. Many former employees of QMA have said that John Daniel was the best boss they ever had,(even Agent Orange has said that a time or two) and the same former employees have said that Mark Arcierio was the WORST boss they ever had, and going from John to Mark was a nightmare. Max Trimmel did not have the experience to be VP of Operations. He was in over his head from day one. As was Mark. I will never understand why the board, when they had someone with 30 years of aviation experience, who was, and is, well-known in the aviation community, who had brought at least 4 million dollars into the company, would throw him out in favor of a complete unknown with no aviation experience. Go figure. I did tell them what would happen if they let John Daniel get away. And I was so very, very right. That would feel good if I hadn't lost so much money, if the stock wasn't completely worthless now. I invested hard earned money in that company, thinking the money was safe with John. And it would have been had the board not gone crazy. If they had left John alone the company would be building airplanes right now, not going into bankruptcy proceedings.

I knew we were in trouble APril of 2008, I was in purchasing I saw how much we owed everyone, I also saw the insurnace amount back in APril and questioned someone about it. They said it was fine. We were told to keep telling suppliers the money was coming, in reality I don't think I really ever thought it was coming, I felt terrible lying to them, I built relationships with my suppliers...... Mark brought down people from Kansas, paid their bills, paid them more, treated them a little better and left the ones that had been true to QMA in the dust. I'm not name calling or will I ever point one finger at one person, because there were more than one. Joe C., he helped them get everything together for the bankruptcy... someone asked him if he was crazy I suppose his family thinks he may be..... I can't beleive he stayed and maybe still is there. I would love to be paid, as well as every other person out there. We never will, nor do I think the suppliers will eihter. John did keep us up todate, matter fact he never could not pay us. You woudl be surprised of what we were told, why didn't many of us leave before hand..... you know for me, it was best I stayed as well as probably every other single person. We got unemployement, the insurance company I suppose paid my 14k hospital bill as well as others peoples bills. Many I still have and still paying on today. One thing for sure, I did learn a lot out there as well as I think the entire thing made me a little smarter and I pay more attention to things that before, I never paid much attention too......... AgentOrange wrote: Pardon, I never said you were, this time. You are 100% correct however, about the complete lack of transparency, and I will say that in some cases the previous Prez/CEO was a little better at that. I do not hate anyone, nor do I have a personal vendetta to carry out. You have to understand the entire history and the daily promises that were made to me while myself and a few, VERY few, others (most of which were consultants) worked from 5:00AM till very late in the evening, Saturdays, Sundays including two-months of no days off (and a pay cut) to do the work necessary to obtain the ATC by a very special date, one that I knew was of great importance of a personal nature for JD. I do not hate the man, I just despise what he (and a couple of others that were still there at QMA in the end) did to me and my family, and this is something that only a few even know of the details. I think it is disgusting what has been done to a number of very decent, honest, hard working souls that, as you have correctly stated, were sadly taken advantage of. One thing that should be clarified however, and this is VERY, VERY important for everyone who ever becomes associated with this company or some of these people in the future. There were, in fact, some of the very same people, in key positions, that were completely, absolutely aware of the financials and how people's lives were going to be slammed, but sat back and did nothing to notify and/or help the people that would be hurt the most. It was not just a couple of folks that knew the light at the end of that tunnel was nothing but a fast moving train. Take care, and I hope all is well!

We tried to get a lawyer to do it.... nobody would touch it. I contacted on myself, he thought about it then sent me a nice letter declining my request. So, if anyone would have taken it..... we would have never really gotten anything but a "guilty".... that doesn't pay the bills we have. Altus Citizen wrote: Come on now boys and girls, let's face it. QMA bit the dust and no amount of name calling will ever breath new life, into that dead horse. A very good friend of mine, had researched this company,(Luscombe) and found it had left a wake of damage in other communities across the land. This information was passed along to the City Counsel and ignored. It was also mentioned almost 2 decades ago, many fine folks would be hurt and again, this warning was ignored. A large number of people gained from this so-called venture and sorry to say, a great many also lost. Its now time to pick up what's left, and rebuild. If anything should be done, then let it be decided in court. Knowing human nature, most everyone here will continue to complain and nothing more. Which one of you, is brave enough to take this matter into court? I believe the correct term for this would be, a Class Action Suit? So get together and do something other then complain.

I've heard that Mark was fired from the two jobs he had previous to coming to QMA. You'd think that the headhunters who recommended him for QMA would have known that, wouldn't you? Of course, Heidrick & Struggles have a clause in the contract companies sign that says the company cannot sue them if the candidate they recommend doesn't work out, or ruins the company. How much you want to bet Heidrick & Struggles will find Mark another company to ruin in record time? The one thing that Mark and Max both were really good at was spin doctoring. They were able to take really really bad news and make it sound like good news. I suspect that is how they fooled the board of directors into thinking things were just ducky at QMA. I would just love to see Mark's resume' these days and see the spin he has put on his latest disaster.

The sad thing about him, the board and we all knew Mark had came form a compnay thatfiled bankruptcy plus that he had been out of work for a couple of years. Why did they hire him? He's a smooth talker, that is why. just curious wrote: <quoted text> No. you dont know me. I beg your pardon Former Employee. I have consulted with a couple of former upper level QMA employees and we've concluded that you actually came to QMA a few months after Agent Orange left, so you might not have known him. Count your blessings on that.
Was QMA mentioned on 60 Minutes or some other TV news show recently? Some people just dropped by and said they heard about the QMA with holding fiasco on tv, and that there might be some jail time involved for Mark or others. I'm sure Mark and the board really believed that Paul Doughty and Don Anderson were going to come up with that 120 million they kept talking about, and thought they'd be able to make up the with holding funds and nobody would ever find out they hadn't paid it. I can see how Mark might believe that the money was coming any time, but the board had been dealing with Paul and Don for many years, you'd think they would at least pause to consider the source. Jeez Louise, what a mess.
Altus could have had a nice small aircraft company that paid decent wages to local people. A good tax base, job base, something solid for the town. Even with the downturn, JSD had a plan to build the company slowly, paying as they went. They would have survived. He had plans for other models to add to the line. It's all just too bad. I'm sorry for Altus, but glad to be away.

Tickedoff, where do you come up this stuff? You said Agent Orange was moonlighting while out on paid medical leave, that is an outright lie. Yeah, he did some things that rattled feathers, but from what I saw, they needed it. I know that he caught people working on personal equipment, on company time with company materials, all which were paid for by the citizens of Altus. Of course there were some people don't like him. For your information, I was one of the people he fired, I hated him for a long time! Later, I knew I deserved it, but it made me wake up and things are much better now, and I am out of that sorry place. You little small town gnats don't even know the real person who you are continuing to gossip about. Give it up, move on, there is no money here, go do something positive! That is, if you actually know how.

Hello run em out on a rail, Some of us are wondering if you are Agent Orange incognito? But if not and you left Altus before he did, then you missed the last two + years. Former Employee and the others have serious greivances, and deserve to be heard. I suspect a lot more will come out as time goes on. I am occasionally mistaken, but I never lie. And I have heard the same tales about Agent Orange from several sources close to the matter. Anyway, nobody is trying to prosecute him or harm him in any way, we'd just like for him to stay out of it because what he has to say is not apropos to the issue of QMA the last two years since Mark came in and it went downhill in a big hurry. People are angry that they did not get paid, that their money was not handled properly, and they have a right to be. I will be very interested to watch from afar the developments.

so let me ask, did Mark Arciero try 5 S'ing or Kaizaning QMA?? He tried that Lean manufacturing crap at his previous company by saying it would increase production, decrease waste, decrease delivery times and increase profits. All it really did was racked up $$$$$$$$$$ in costs that he hoped to recover later on down the road. I dont believe he succeeded in any of those goals and they canned him because in the end, all it did was cost money and slowed production while he kaizaned with his outside consultants (that relationship itself was somewhat odd and in need of investigation. something seemed fishy there).
but still, it kind of shows he was playing games with the company money as i dont think corporate office knew what he was doing until long after the money was gone and spent. it sounds like something similar happened at QMA.
