Yes, and great! Everytime I go back to visit I have to get a large salad with extra cheese!!! lol

For you fellow Luigetta salad lovers( I am also guilty) I have a surprise for you!
I have a recipe that tastes so close to theirs that you might want to try!
1 package Aujus
2 cups oil
1 cup Balsamic vinegar
1/2 tbs accent
2 tbs garlic salt or 1 tbs garlic powder & 1 tbs salt
Blend well and chill, Enjoy!!

my sister and I spent a lot of time trying to find an easy fix for our luigettas cravings, we tried a couple different recipes and one we found to be pretty close is really easy. Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing, a little bit of soy sauce, and a little powdered beef bouillon. Im going to try your recipe this weekend lOl my mouth is watering just thinking about it =)

Did you know they sell the dressing now? You can have it shipped to your house! Insane or what!

Yes they are open!!! And the food is grand!!! I go there every time we are up that way!

everyone is so full of crap when it comes to lugettas salad dressing, I worked there in the 80s and made the salad dressing and the recipt is wrong

Well damn "full of crap"??? First of all, no one said they had "the" recipe. They said it tastes similar to the dressing. So you can read it again, and learn how to spell *recipe* and your former employer's name.

I am pretty sure they use cider vinegar

what kind of oil did you use? I used Extra virgin olive oil.(weis) Brand and didnt really like it.

what kind of oil did you use. what brand?? Aujus where did you get it and what brand?

I used vegetable oil and the Au Jus is in the gravy section. It comes in a packet.
