anyone know the story on lyle maxwell and what really happened

Lyle is a good man who loves his family, community and God. They need prayer and that's all anyone needs to know. The details truly don't matter unless one thrives on someone else's pain. The fruit in Lyle's life speak for his character and who he is as a man. The best thing we can do is pray and not spread rumors. The Bible also says that he who is without sin to cast the first stone.....meaning, who are we to judge anyone? My family and I will not be casting any stones toward this good man and his family.

"fruit in his life speaks for his character" is that the title one can recieve for chasing around underaged kids

Come on with the prayers. Lyle made a big deal about his sister n law finding an adult on line, and now hes chasing little girls. He is no better than the perverts in prison

i went to school with lyle and i didn't like him then and i really don't like what he did f***ing perv

remember, it's better to hate the sin, love the sinner. who among us has not made mistakes? it is always so easy to pick out other people's failings and shortcomings....most people need to take a look in their own closets before making judgments about what others have done. lyle made a tremendous mistake, and i'm sure he knows it. why go out of your way to make it worse for him and his family?

Well i am not real sure how many other people know this but sadly I do!!! I also know for a fact that he molested his little sister as well and attempted to do the same to a younger cousin!!! He is a complete waste of space and I'm sure others would agree!!!

I too had heard the claim that he tried or did molest a family member. I believe that a person is innocent until proven guilty. However, I hope that his wife takes a good look at the whole picture before taking him back into their home.

I am not happy about this at all!!! He will claim all the GOOD things he done all over town but actually he is a slime ball that should not even be out of jail, i just feel sorry for his family, he knew what he was doing was wrong, even more so if he IS as relious as he claims he is!!! i THINK THAT WAS ALL A COVER UP!!! I will never look at him the same again and hope i never see him again!!!

How would you all feel if this happened in your family? We need to worry about our own lives and not so much everone elses. We can not control everyone all of the time, and people do things for different reasons, not that i agree with what he done, because i DO NOT, but we all just need to pray for Lyle and his family. And another thing if he did do anything like this to his sister, then his family should feel part to blame, they should have got him help along time ago, so what do you all think about that!!! Just a few of my thoughts.

Sadly, there is no hope. They say that they can be put on medicine to control the urge. HA HA. The only way to cure this type of disease is lead poisoning, something cheap, maybe as in a .22 caliber, placed just right will do the trick.

To What Ever in Fort Myers, Fl. I think you are praying for the wrong family. Pray for the young girls and their familys. He has changed thier lives for ever. I'd hate to think that I was like you,not careing what happens to maybe the little girl who lives next door to you. I hope Lyle has plenty of blankets, it's going to be cold in the garage tonight. Well, TOPSY you make some very good points. They should pray for the family of the young girl and her family because it can and I am sure has changed their lives. However, they also need to pray for his family because they are victims too. I do not know how many other victims there are out there of his but everyone needs to pray for them all!! I also agree that it is not going to get any of us anywhere by talking about him. Pray for all. Sweet dreams Lyle!

You all have no idea what this feels like to happen to you, unlike some people in here so sweet dreams and shut the f**ck up!!!

I will pray for his victims and all other victims. According to the paper, this man was on several organizational boards and seems he was very active in his community. What an embarrasement for this community and all those who thought he was an honorable man!!! I do hope that any child who has had contact with him at any time is asked whether or not they have been a victim of his or anyone else's. If he started this in his teens and is now in his 40's, how many more victims are there???? I do hope they come forward now, so they may begin the healing process. I am not on here to judge this man as only GOD can do that, but I do know that this can be devastating for the victims and their families.
