To "Please" I can tell you that Jordan was quoted saying "we went back" and then during his testimony during the trial, he stated that he never even saw Paula after she dropped him off at the strip club. Jordan was the one who testified that HE broke the windshield of the car with the gun after the murder, and the gun was on HIS floor. No one would take possession of a murder weapon for several days after a murder. Also, he would have stated that he did go back to the scene and watched jon shoot the woman...but he didn't...he lied through his teeth. I can tell you that I am currently in law school and I KNOW that our jobs as jurors was to make sure that the prosecution proved its case beyond a reasonable doubt...which it clearly did not. I can tell you we would have been unanimous had 2 jurors understood their responsibilities correctly, which, through a series of appeals, we can see that they clearly did not. That is a matter of FACT. Jon IS guilty of 2nd degree murder, in which you do not have to prove that he pulled the trigger, this, we could have all convicted jon of, but unfortunately, we were not given that option...hopefully in the next trial

I also know both of these men and went to high school with them. Judging on personalities and actions in the past I KNOW that JON killed this woman NOT Jordon. Jordon was so sweet and mild mannered. And Jon the total opposite! Jon was a womanizer and if she had not been willing he would have raped her anyway! He left that bar with her with a plan in his a mind! A plan to rape her if she had not been willing! Jordon had no reason to shoot that woman! But Jon did! Because she pissed him off! I mean just think about it, why would Jordon risk spending the rest of his life in prison for some lady he had no connection with at all! Jon on the other hand had a reason to shoot her, because he had already beat her so badly and knew she was going to call the police on him! Come on people this is common sense here! I hope the best for Jordon! But I hope that justice is served for Jon! Especially after he was smiling on all the news coverage! You know why he's smiling? Because he knows he killed that lady and is blaming it on an innocent friend! And what is sad is that he knows his plan might actually work if they keep confusing the jurors!

SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE? BOTH MEN ARE EQUALLY GUILTY OF THIS CRIME AND SHOULD BE PUNISHED TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW.
THIS WOMAN DID NOT HAVE TO DIE. THEY HAD PLENTY OF TIME TO COME TO THEIR SENSES AND GET HER SOME HELP. INSTEAD, ONE OF THEM DESIDED TO SHOOT HER AND THE OTHER ONE DID NOTHING TO STOP IT.

There would probally be few people who would ever meet the parents of Jon Cearlock that would not like them. They both could give lessons in charm in the Mayberry like town where they live. However, the common thread when this story broke was that many people who went to school with Jon---and many parents who had children in school near Jon's age all say the same thing. They could have predicted something like this to have happened. The central theme from many is that Jon had little respect for others and when other parents tried to talk to Jon's parents---they were met with deaf ears. They would accept nothing negitive about their son. Sadly, the murder has turned out to be a microcosm of Jon's life. He is alleged to have done something wrong---but wait---it is the fault of someone else----oh no, he didn't do what he is accused of---and the parents-----they back him up with every fiber of their being. The moral of the story is that parents should listen carefully to those who are around their children when they are not. My prediction is that by Jon blaming his friend for the murder---that may create enough doubt for a jury to let Jon off. But as in the case of an OJ Simpson, until one admits what he did, he will always be seperated from God----and that will be a worse punishment than anything man could do to Jon.

To anyone who wants an update....Sometime in the next few months there will be a hearing to decide whether or not there is enough evidence to even continue with an investigation. If it is decided that there isn't then both men will be let free. However, I heard that Jordan won't be going very far because there will be cops from other states there to pick him up for other outstanding warrants.

I knew both these guys and I can't really say that I thought either were capable of anything like this. The fact is, and has been stated before, that both men are in fact guilty of murder and concealment of a crime. One of them shot this lady and the other either encouraged it or did nothing to stop it. Both men's hands were on the murder weapon at some point... So who cares who the trigger man was? Both should be charged with second degree murder and this thing should be put to bed. I feel sorry for my old friends - I don't know what happened in their lives to make them make this horrible decision. As I said, both of these guys should be in jail for a long time for doing this.

WHY WOULD ANYONE, LET CEARLOCK GO FREE?
HE IS THE ONE THAT TOOK THIS WOMAN BEHIND THE STORE AND BEAT HER AND LEFT HER FOR DEAD.
BOTH OF THE MEN ARE EQUALLY GUILTY.

You people think you know so much. You weren't there and we will never know the truth. Jordan is a liar, even his family will tell you that. He's been running from the law and military for years. At the trial the state proved he is a liar. They made a deal with the devil. Jon did not accuse Jordon of anything. Jon did not even testify. How stupid aer you people

Anyone who knew Jon in the past could pretty much say the same thing. He is a sweet talker, womanizer, blah blah blah. He was your typical young guy. The Jon I knew loved life too much to take someone elses. He had a very big heart and was always so caring and concerned. I am not saying he is innocent, I wasn't there. I don't know Jordan like Jon but from what I hear there is no way Jordan could have done something so horrible. I want to know why it is fair that there is a man, a so called "friend" of Jon's and Jordan's that knew before the police and before the news crews that the 2 were in trouble and what they had done. Why is this "friend" living the high life with his nice vehicles, nice house, fiance, and kid on the way, and the other 2 in jail? he was and still is witholding information... Nothing in the world is fair, but to me all 3 of them should be in the same amount of trouble. There are young kids growing up without their mother because of pure ignorance.

I have been reading these postings and the varied "opinions" of what either defendant would or would not do. That it is being nieve that you can predict or really know what another would or would not do in certain circumstances. Just because you know one side of a person's personality, does not mean you know him/her entirely. This could have also been a situation that just went bad and decisions were made afterwards that were even worse. Only 3 people know for sure and one of them can't speak for herself anymore. This whole situation is so very sad for all parties. I continue to pray for all families involved. That all find some resolve and peace someday soon.
