The cross is a great place to visit, I am proud to donate money for the repair of the cross.. We take our children every year to see the Cross the we go to town and have a bite to eat and try to support the town... But this year 4-27-2008 we got all our leather on and rode to The Blessing of the bikes, afterwards we went into town (Alto Pass) to get a soda at the Root Beer Saloon and was treated very differently, they didnt like "Our kind" there. We were told by the locals that the mayor locked the public restroom doors at the park so bikers wont use them. Not only were we there to support the cross, But we were also there to support Alto Pass. We will continue to support the cross and make donations for the repairs to the cross but myy but my husband and I along with our "Biker friends" will talk our business elsewhere.
