You seem a nice guy with a nice family and you love what we all love. OK, I'm not much help when it comes to fishing - just can't keep my mouth shut so the fish won't bite LOL but camping at a creek with the kids running around, a nice campfire, grilled fish and a cold one sounds great. Enjoy your quality time with your family!!! I really enjoyed my quality time with my family. We are leaving this coming weekend since we have Monday off. We might head out to South Padre island.

In Germany today is Father's Day - means every male between 18 - 99 thinks they had a good reason to have loads of fun with their buddies and get drunk. LOL This day (a national holiday anyway) my Dad always came into my room around 6 a.m. demanding in a very loud voice that I sang "Hosianna" like in Church. He found that funny. I did him the favor and repeated it the next morning when he had a hangover. I found that funny :) Nice to see you registered. Have a good time and enjoy your family.

Hi All, The cap-and-trade Carbon Tax is now officially on the fast- track and Chairman Henry Waxman is forcing a vote today. Tuesday, Waxman officially skipped the subcommittee and sent out a memo that the 1,000+-page bill would be pushed through the key Energy and Commerce committee by Thursday: "My goal is to conclude consideration of the legislation on Thursday, May 21... Members should be prepared to work late on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings." ++ Radical Statism On Fast Track! I believe the Carbon Tax is the most dangerous and oppressive power grab that we have yet seen --perhaps even worse than the bailouts! The Waxman bill will give the government the power to regulate and control the air -- and you and I will be forced to pay! ++ Faxes and Phone Calls Needed Non-Stop Today Waxman wants this bill wrapped up and through the Energy and Commerce Committee this week because there is real opposition -- even from some Democrats -- to this outrageous energy tax. That's why it is absolutely crucial that every concerned citizen to help us flood the House with phone calls and faxes urging this committee to reject the cap-and-trade carbon tax. Call your Representative and these key members of the Energy and Commerce Committee and tell them you oppose the cap-and-trade Carbon Tax... Rep. Teague We have identified the key members of the Energy and Commerce Committee who need to hear from grassroots Americans: Rep. Michael Ross (AR) Rep. Charlie Melancon (LA) Rep. G. Butterfield (NC) Rep. Zack Space (OH) Rep. Michael Doyle (PA) Rep. Bart Gordon (TN) Rep. Charles Gonzalez (TX) Rep. Gene Green (TX) Rep. James Matheson (UT) Rep. Rick Boucher (VA) Rep. Peter Welch (VT) Rep. Jay Inslee (WA) One more note -- while Obama was pushing Waxman to fast-track this Energy Tax, a memo leaked out of Obama's Office of Management and Budget which harshly criticized the Carbon Tax... "The decision to regulate CO2... for the first time is likely to have serious economic consequences"... The memo -- which adds that CO2 has "no demonstrated direct health effects" -- has been a source of great embarrassment to the Obama administration. Go to ResistNet blog to read it: http://www.grassfire.net/r.asp... This entire cap-and-trade scheme is a statist power grab cloaked in leftist "save the planet" lingo just to make us swallow it hook and sinker. Thank you for taking action!

It's not an issue of Republican and Democrat as there are blue dog Democrats with a better voting record of fiscal responsibility then a lot of so called Republicans. The problem is that politicians are in the business of getting re elected and the very behavior of Republicans who had all three branches of government acting like free spending liberals is what got their a** handed to them. Thomas Jefferson said that in the normal course of time it was inevitable that government would get bigger while freedoms would shrink. It is a tested and true tactic for both parties to keep the focus on Democrats vs Republicans and keep the citizens fighting with each other so they would not recognize the common enemy we have as Americans, the politicians. When we stop blaming the political parties and start focusing on the real culprits, politicians, the pressure will be focused where it needs to be, the members of both parties who have financially screwed us.

The California state government. They are facing bankruptcy (what ever that means in the scope of things). They were looking for a solution that did not include the hard choices of spending cuts. They wanted to borrow from future lottery proceeds among other things. The voters told them no on that and three other propositions that amounted to more debt and spending money they didn't have. They, like New York City are being strangled by state pensions that run upwards to over $200,000.00 a year for single individuals. 1/4 of their budget is going toward outrageous pensions. Plan B would be to have the Federal Government bail them out which would amount to people like you and me paying for excessive public union wages and retirements. I've never seen $200,000.00 a year in my life and have a hard time with the thought of me, my kids and grand kids going into debt to save a bloated system in another state. The news stated the other day that a little under half of Americans are working. You have retirees, people who have been laid off, the chronically unemployed and those who never have worked and have no intention of working. How long do you think the weight of increasing debt can be carried by a shrinking work force?

Not A Joke wrote: I think there is something monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is just a banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes, these exist but they are merely single facets on a very larger stone and is only now coming into a better focus. Something of historic proportions is happening. I know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it. There is something happening within our country that has been evolving for about 10 - 15 years. The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two. We have spent two or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our economy. Why? The goverment wanting to build a hwy. from Mexico to Canada and Building a spoke in Kansas and putting it in the control of Mexico. Using a Spanish Co. for the construsction, This was put on hold so now we We as people seem to be nothing in the goverments eyes. Why? The Federal Reserve, has "loaned" two trillion dollars (that is $2,000,000,000,000) over the past few months, but will not tell us to whom or why or disclose the terms. That is our money. Yours and mine. And that is three times the $700B spent just this past September. Who has this money? Why do they have it? Why are the terms unavailable to us? Who asked for it? Who authorized it? Why are our car companys leaving the USA? Intentionally de-industrializing our economy. Bingo!
