Does anyone know who is running against Milton Turner? I have lived here for 5 years and I think the good old boy network we have in office needs to go. They do not keep up with the neighborhoods they want in here. Milton and Dennis Bergin have no problem taking our money but dont ask for anything like spped limit signs, code enforcement, paved streets....etc.

I would run but I am not in the city limits. The city drew one candidates home into the city limits but the house 1000 feet above where I live is not. How do you work that?

I agree, I have lived here for 34 years and always enjoyed it being a quite town. Not anymore. I remember when Milton Turner was an unknown now he has like 3 houses his chicken farm, etc. Sounds like someone is taking some from off the hip. Whoever runs is got to be better. I say get rid of the whole council. Let them move to Gainesville if they want to live next to McDonalds!

Please go out and vote Tuesday. You shouldn't complain if you don't vote.
I would like to see an improvement also. You are buying the new sewer system but if you want to replace your septic I bet you have to pay a high price.
Vote with your head and not by what others say.

Milton hasn't done anything for Lula except superficial cosmetic items. We cant even get main street to look halfway decent. I voted for Paul Cox but Milton still won. This is rdiculous. Now access northga has an article where the city coucil is going to let DEG once again get away with not keeping promises. I agree with Jason, it looks a little crooked to me.

I think they played rock, paper, scissors to see who would be mayor.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Libra

Don't try to do too much at once today or you'll disappear up you know what! You're all fingers and thumbs, accident-prone and things start breaking. It won't help if you're trying to concentrate at work and a certain chatterbox doesn't know when to shut up. Ask them to be quiet but try not to sound shrewish.
