He may ride around in his new vehicle but he is driving that vehicle around in this county being completely visible to the public. Would you prefer that he stays in his office where he does not see what is going on around him. This is something he does at all year around not just during election time. I have met both Joe Martin and Gary Schaaf. If I had to pick one of them to talk to I can tell you it would not be Joe Martin. He has a tendancy to make a person feel inferior. He talks down to people and he comes off as rude and arrogant. On the other hand when I talked to Gary Schaaf he listened and and showed his concern toward me and my problem. I would rather live in a county where the law enforcement really cared about my well being and Sheriff Schaaf and every deputy that I have talked to personally have been polite, concerned and helped me. They responded to my call quickly. I do know there are times they cannot respond as quickly as we would like but sometimes other peoples problems are more urgent than our own.
