Gary Schaaf has been a GOOD SHERIFF...that better ? Saying he did a fine job is the way I talk. But if you needed it more specific, there it IS.<quoted text>
I believe that I want to be able to say that our sheriff has done better than fine. Look YOU couldn't even say that Gary has done a good job. A just fine job for all of his administation is unacceptable.

I'm glad that you stand by your man. And I'm glad that you think he has done a fine job. That means when Joe is Sheriff, you will be tickled beyond belief at what a wonderful job that Joe is doing.

1 I agree with you 100 percent, I am not sure of what I was thinking. I have read back on prior posts and spoke with some of the general public and now have a different outlook of what Perry County can be with MARTIN AS SHERIFF. Thank you for telling me the proper way. I will be VOTING FOR JOE MARTIN FOR SHERIFF ON AUG. 5 BY SELECTING A REPUBLICAN BALLOT. |

1 Well it certainly sounds as if you have alot of experience with talking and calling law enforcement officers. The Sheriff's Department, and you make it sound like more that one Deputy and Gary himself responded quickly to your call and were all so nice and polite. It sounds more like a group hug than someone seriously in trouble or reporting a crime. Maybe your mother never told you 911 is an emergency number...quit playing on the phone. |

1 I don't understand why you say that Joe does not have a clue as to what he is getting into. He has been in Law Enforcement for a long time, I am confident that he knows or he wouldn't be running for the job. Unless you are saying that you have first hand information that the Sheriff's department is in worse shape than the general public even knows. Is that what you are saying? |

1 Are you forgetting that this election is about Schaaf and Martin. Not about some BS rumor that your trying to start. |

1 My last comment was made to shit or terd ( whatever he calls himself) |
|
That is completely incorrect. "Uncle Joe" didn't tell you that. You're stirring the pot with the wrong spoon, turd. |

As I have said in other comments, leave Colleen out of this, she isnt running for Sheriff and she is not a disgrace to the department. She does her job and you people starting the rumors need to zip it. Again, the person mouthing must be someone she pissed off. Maybe if you would stay on the good side of the law she wouldnt be an issue! Stick with the issue at hand, and it isnt her.

The general public has NO idea what kind of shape the sheriff's dept. is really in, how it got there or what kind of money it has cost the county. Truly sad. It has been out of control for way too long. |

BUT GARY, instead you post on a newsapapers (NOT THE REPUBLIC MONITOR) website that YOUR DETECTIVE; drives a county vehicle home; outside of the county; and also has in this vehicle A HIGH POWERED SNIPER RIFLE? GARY where is your officer SAFETY at HERE? JUST what the HELL are you THINKING about GARY!?!?!?!? NOW YOU,(I have proof and here it is What a pss poor county dept we have. |

2 Oh they were being watched by one of the state highway workers, not a armed cop. GO FIGURE |
|
You people do not realize they have to be sentenced to the jail. Those inmates working today are sentenced to a state prison. Big difference there. Still have to pay someone to watch them, duh. |

STATE PRISON, COUNTY PRISON, D-BRT...PRISON IS PRISON, prisoner work is just that, whether state or county. Yes you still have to pay someone, but look at it this way, you are paying 1 person instead of 12 people. Man you are stupid! |
