Plan... what's your plan...

As much as I hate to admit it... it is a cop-out to say that the people who are not in office yet should have a plan when we don't seem to have one.

When we are interviewing people for jobs do we ask *So how do you plan to save this company?*...

No.. we don't. But we DO expect that our current CEO and board of directors should have a working plan.

To many idiots on this forum. President Bush is a president in 5 short years after an attack has led us in prosperity. Still the democrats want to take over impeach him and raise our taxes. What losers. The great blue wave is a half a foot trickle. Dream on dreamers the american people are smarter than that.

Go back and take a look at what Bush, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld and others estimated that the cost and duration of the war would be, you know the estimate they sold their plan to Congress on and then look at the results.

My favorite is the part where they tell us that Iraqi oil will pay for everything and then bring us milk and cookies pat us on the head and turn out the light.

Thank you, finally someone remembers what we were told about the oil paying for the war. That is exactly what was said. If that is true, why are we having to spend billions on this war? Maybe, one day we will figure out (as if we don't know) where the oil is going.

Remember it matters little to the oil companies how much the war costs us. They were never going to pay for it so the cost of the war has little to do economically as far as how well the oil companies make out. The big problem for the oil companies is that this administration has botched the takeover and now the companies that helped elect these jmokes and pushed to get us into this mess are starting to cut and run.

Anyone doing business in Iraq that donated to the Bush campaign should have to stay until the last soldier leaves.

^^^ That is just stupid. Please do tell me how spending the next two years focussing on something like that instead of focussing on Iraq will help is in this war?

It will not.

Oh but what it would do is keep the focus off of the fact that the dems will fk it up just as bad as the reps have.

Maybe if the Democtrats try to impeach the president, it will kill the Democrats just as the attempt to impeach Clinton did more harm to the Republicans than good. But you are right. The Democrats will screw (nicer word) it up worse. Contratrary to what you said earlier, most Democrats in power are experienced politicians supposedly familiar with the facts and should have a plan. But they do not.

Someone said once, "It's the economy, Stupid!" Unemployment is lower than it has been in years. The deficit is much lower than expected and it is due to the tax cuts. The Democrats have promised to raise taxes which historically have hurt the economy.

The deficit is one of the largest in history. The combined defecit in real dollars during this Presidency is the largest in the history of this country.
In fact at the rate it is going it will more than double the debt our country has collected since it was created.

We have spent something close to 500 Billion on the Wars. Where is the other approximately 3 trillion dollars Bush has spent? That is 6 times the cost of the Iraq vote to date?????!!!!! Where did the money go? MAYBE TO COVER THE COSTS OF HIS TAX BREAKS????

Bush has purchased the appearance of a decent economy on the backs of the future generations that will pay for it.

P.S. The unemployment figure is the lowest it has been in years and in light of the fact that we have 11 to 18, depending on whose accountant we ask, illegal aliens working or drawing welfare in this country.

Daily Horoscope for November 27

Taurus

If you wake up early this morning after a strange sexual dream, don't worry. It's just Pluto digging deep into your psyche and it doesn't mean you are perverted. Dreams about sex are almost always about something other than the carnal desires; the language of the sleeping mind is almost entirely symbolic. You are normal, so carry on in good faith.
