People need to ration the garbage they send to landfills. We are destroying our planet. This is a good thinhg that they only let you send 1 can a week..If we all send less garbage to the landfills that is lees pollution of our precious natural resourses.

It's always been that way, but the guy's would usually go ahead and pick it up.. This is not something I started just to get an arguement from people..
LOOK AT THE PICTURE.. I didn't set it up. The lady is dumping her own trash as the driver looks on. She had a can and a box filled with trash.. She drug it across the street, she dumped it in the truck.. THe driver was very polite. He said if he did it he would be fired if he got caught.This is notna compalint against the drivers or crews. Mine have been exceptional.. They even told us a week before about the new policy. OR the enforcement of exisiting policy, if you prefer.
The last company would pick it up if it was bagged and your can was full. This company (AW)will not do it anymore..

I got a neighbor that needs to have limbs hauled off, It's been there since January, the city won't do it, but they did cut the tree down from the ice storm we had back then.
As for dumping your trash on the city front lawn ?
Bad idea people, I think if you call the trash service up on wanting extra trash removed they will come out. I understand their reason behind what they are doing here. people wait long before it's time to be hauled off before they complain here.

We're not talking about tree limbs, although I've seen them pick those up too, in the past. As I've said before, the drivers and crews have been great, Polite and courteous. Never leaving trash laying loose after missing the truck..
As to laying it on the lawn of City Hall. I don't advocate it. But, if you do and don't get caught.. I will definitely cheer!! Mail your junk mail in with your utility bill.Not breaking any laws there. Maybe they will get the hint.
The City government works for us.. SO THEY NEED TO GET OFF THEIR ASS AND DO SOMETHING!!
