Both the Catholic Church and conservative groups oppose the legislation, and the centre-right government even tried to get a ruling by the Supreme Court to block Mexico City from issuing gay marriage licences; they have so far been unsuccessful.

Blend in is a term I have used
When you have a gay parade and the vast majority are dressed in clothing that would not be considered legal as too much was exposed
When you have perverts with whips and chains beating each other
When the behavior goes against what society agrees is acceptable behavior in a public place you will have people upset
Then when you get people with attitudes like yours the gay community pays for it
Society sets rules for what is acceptable behavior for public areas and many in the gay community refuse to respect that
