Medical marijuana meeting was a success
We had a great turnout on Wednesday night June 17 at the Greenbush Township Hall for our third Northeast Michigan Medical Marijuana Compassion Club meeting. We are a small organization recently established to help people understand the new laws and assist them in the legal process to grow, possess and use medical marijuana in Michigan legally.
Marijuana is now legal in our state as medicine. However not everyone can get it. First you must meet certain medical qualifications before you become legal
Our next meeting is July 15 at the Greenbush Township Hall 7-9 pm. The meeting is open to everyone however you must be 18 or be with an adult. Check us on www.nemicompassionclub.ning.com

I don't smoke pot, but I am definitely for the legalization of it regarding medical use. Let's have mercy on sick people.

I don't do any drugs unless you count insulin. Why the nasty response? I certainly meant no harm to anyone.

Oh, and whatever - I'm from a different state where so far it hasn't been legalized for medical use but they are considering it.

No mixed up dates seems that pill and that mixed drink has got you a little turned around

Yea legal drugs??? You mean like marijuana that passed last nov by the voters here in michigan?? With a whopping 63 percent of compassionate people who care about the sick and disabled people

The same people who are sick of those awful drugs like vioxx that kills people and fenetyl pataches that were recalled after they cause death and severe damage to peoples body

Ever year thousands die from prescription pills. However no one death due to overdose of marijuana. Yet pills are pushed on us and weed remains illegal. how strange is that.....

All of you, please keep advocating the use of marijuana for medical issues. They give out addictive painkillers with imuinity, and except for perhaps psychological dependency, it is my understanding that MJ is not addictive. And I don't think anyone has ever died from it, at least that's what I've read. Again I beg the medical community: Have mercy on sick people!!

And good luck to you who are trying to get this legalized for sensible purposes.

you are right, as an example, in California people have not died from legal pot. The other driver, they hit
died, 2008. research it. There are other meds that work better than legal pot.

Have you really tried a medical grade cannabis?? If so what strain did you try?/ There are several new strains out now that work wonders on pain

your " rox" as you say are high;y addictive aren't they. My wife was on ativan during cancer and told me she'd never go back on them

We have several patients in our club that use mj instead of opiate type pain killers. Some have learn how to break MJ down into oil and eat in daily food stuffs.....

You're not very bright...anyone with half a brain would know you do NOT drive while under the influence of ANY mind-altering drug.

Now go have a few beers and calm down...but DON'T DRIVE. And I will no longer respond to your inane posts.

I'm truly sorry you're in pain. I do NOT smoke pot, but while my sister was dying of cancer, MJ was the only thing that brought her relief. It's terrible to see a loved one die of cancer. She wasn't driving - she was in a wheelchair. I am against recreational drug use. Opiate painkillers - well, if a person is dying, I guess they'd have to take them, but I don't want ANYTHING that's addictive. I wish you good health; and if you don't mind I will pray for you.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Virgo

The world is your oyster. There isn't anyone you're afraid to talk to or any situation you're afraid to place yourself in. The word 'extrovert' must have been coined just to describe you. You're the master of time at the moment, cutting through red tape and getting right to the heart of the matter. If you use the right words, you can make anyone see your point of view, even if they don't agree.
