2 grown male police officers bean-bagging a 12 year old girl when she's already down on the ground? That is excessive indeed! All Police Officers should know how to subdue a child without using excessive force. The PPD's Union Rep made a unsettling comment about using excessive force against a child being "Police Policy". Why is using excessive force against a child in ANY Policy? That is truly very shocking and disappointing to here.

Jeeze, this same officer was somehow found not responsible for the death of a special needs man. A man who allegedly resisted arrest and was tazed. This special needs man later died as a result of a punctured lung that was caused by the 10 broken ribs that he was given while in police custody. Officer Christopher Humphreys did not seek any medical attention for the special needs man; and he died while in police custody. Of course, after he was investigated for the death; Humphreys was found not responsible. Big surprise!
And now, this macho man gets caught using a bean bag gun on a 12 year old girl; AT CLOSE RANGE, WHICH IS NOT PART OF ANY POLICE TRAINING! No officer is trained in using bean bags guns at close range! Let's all wait and see. I say that this greased pig gets found not responsible once again! And, that is why we need to have Civilian Review Boards deciding what is right and what is wrong; when it come to the behavior of our Nation's Lawmen. The current system of having the police investigate themselves is a sham! |

"James Chasse was attacked and beaten to death by Multnomah County Sheriff deputy Bret Burton, Portland Police officer Christopher Humphreys and Portland Police Sargent Kyle Nice on September 17, 2006." www.Jameschasse.blogspot.com
The Police Officers here in Oregon take much pride in themselves on killing young folks like Lukus Glenn and Andrew Hanlon and the mentally ill like James Chasse. 10 years ago some stupid cops busted their way into a mental hospital and shot a mental patient dead! They ALWAYS get excused by the corrupt judges here unfortunatly. So it doesn't shock me that cops tackle, punch and bean-bag a 12 year old screaming, kicking child AFTER she was pinned to the ground. I'm just surprised they didn't kill her! I mean come on!!!! A 12 year old is no match for 2 grown men, what did you expect them to do??? It's all pretty pathetic isn't it? What really chaps my ass is that I use to work in a place where I had to deal with cops and it never ceased to amaze me how they define their "manhood" by these kinds of actions. What's manly about any of this exactly? Go figure. |
