Look out Wamego the bikers are coming!!!! One of these days they are going to get hurt, and what is sad is one of the bars in town serves these guys until they are so drunk and then don't care if they are riding home on two wheels. Maybe when the widows take them for all they have because they didn't stop serving them and they died in an accident then maybe the bartenders would learn!!!

It is not the bartenders job to say when they have had enough to drink. The bikers should be and are responsible to know when they have had enough

Apparently you don't know anything about bikers! Most are big boys/girls who can take care of themselves, If they get that drunk and ride that's on them the bar only serves them they don't tell them to get on their bikes and ride. The bar just sells what they want, it doesn't push it down peoples throats. And I know for a fact that the bar doesn't encourage drunk driving.

I think this is a very selfish statement. As a recovering alcoholic, I have very terrible memories of the damage I caused to my family by my heavy drinking!!! And the bar owners were more than willing to make a buck off of my problem as well as many other peoples problems. Get a clue and take some responsibility!!! I sure hope nobody gets hurt after a night out in your establishment!!!

I sense a little chip on your shoulder against bar owners. They didn't make you drink you did it to yourself. AND DUH thats their business to sale booze. If they hadn't served it to you, you would have went to another bar, am I right? I do think its unfortunate some people get hurt leaving bars, but the bar owners didn't start their car for them and put it in gear. It is the drinkers responsibility if they decide to drive. PEOPLE NEED TO STOP BLAMING OTHERS FOR THEIR ACTIONS.

I am a sibling to a former alcoholic and yes, the drinker needs to take responsiblity but so do the bartenders, they obviously know when someone has had too much, but don't stop serving because when they have customers that are drunk, the tips get bigger!!! It's a win win situation for both the bar owner and the bartender. What a joke, wait until someone gets hurt and then see who pays!!!! If it were my family member that is in a bar and is drunk then leaves and hurts themselves or someone else, I would sue their butts off!!!!

What do you mean they don't encourage drunk driving, people leave there drunk all the time, or are they inviting the drunks to spend the night. What do you know about bikers????? How do you know they can all take care of themselves. Little miss You Have No Clue, are you one of the ladies that is encouraging this kind of behavior???? Are you one of the ladies taking these guys home????? I am using the term lady loosely!!!

I am married to someone who rides a bike and I can tell you that as a wife I am bothered by the kinds of trashy women that hang out around our husbands. Get some self respect and clean up your acts and find your own husbands. The drinking doesn't bother me as much as the the sl*** that show up trying to find their next paycheck!!! My husband as far as I know has been faithful but there are some husbands who lie and sneak around on their wives. It is terrible because these women know these men married and they don't care.

wow. Intense thread. MOST, not all, of the bikers i've seen don't get wasted and drive off. But, 1 beer or 12 beers, they are still drinking and driving.

It's probably going to come down to someone getting in a fatal accident before "bike night" ends. From what i've seen, local police treat it the same as any other day.

Its a great idea for business of the bar, socializing, great music, etc. Everyone is responsible for themselves and adults can make their own decisions.

It's too bad that they treat it as if it were just another day!! Everybody knows what is going on and they watch people leave there drunk on two wheels. It is tough enough to drive drunk on 4 wheels much less on a bike. I just don't understand why this continues. But I guess I should be happy I don't or I would be right there with them doing the same stupid crap!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Scorpio

Something that you've always taken for granted or believed implicitly could have a big question mark hanging over it during the next few weeks. The more entrenched your views are about this, the more difficult it will be to accept that perhaps it's time for a change of opinion or, at the very least, a revaluation of what you think. Mercury turns retro in your house of communications, so do your best to be open-minded now.
