Old Murder

Does anyone remember a murder that happened years ago in Brick. A girl was murdered somewhere near the old Foodtown on Rt 70 and her body was dumped in a stream near the Brick Lakewood border. If so does anyone remember her name, year of murder and if the person was ever caught.

If memory serves me her name was Brittney or something to that affect. Its was a friend of the family that did it.

16 year old Brittney Gregory's body was found by police with search dogs in a shallow grave about two miles from her home. Her body was found nude and has been positively identified using finger prints and dental records. Jack Fuller, a family acquainance, has been arrested for her murder. It is said by a witness that he saw Brittney riding in Fullers car the evening of her disappearance. Law enforcement is not yet listing a cause of death, but did state she was dead before being buried. They are also not disclosing under what grounds they charged Fuller for her death.

Another tragedy for a beautiful young lady. Additional sad irony is that Brittney wanted to become a forensic scientist.

Rest in peace Brittney.

That was and is so very sad and tragic. Being a resident of Brick that really hit home. People from all over heard about it and came to pay their respect and the site she was found
