The new Pennsylvanians: Hispanic and born elsewhere

Immigration is good only if it is done legaly. Most follow the laws of this country. Today, it's a free for all except for the American citizen and taxpayer. I do not like too many hispanics because almost everyone of them, I have met, is on the welfare dole and they brag on how hispanics can get anything and everything they want because they ARE hispanics! Too many hispanics and other illegals coming here with their hands out getting onto our social services meant for American citizens whom are having a hard time for what ever reason. Our people are being denied help while those undeserving and breaking our immigration laws, draining our social services, breaking our housing laws, overload our schools, raise crime rates, traffic drugs, break every motor vehicle law on the books, start gangs which run ramshod over our poeple, bring diseases to our families, shut down hosptials because of all the FREE medical treatment while a citizen is refused treatment or their life is destroyed by financial devastation because they have no health care insurance. I know this is not a forum for this subject, but then again it needs to be said again and again. And they Do Take Jobs Away from the American worker. That fact that the white community does nothing to curtail this invasion in inconcievable. Most peple have been truned into sheep, but not all of us. There is an underlying flow of discontent and anger and it is growing rapidly amoungst the people of all races in this country who are sick of the passive behaviour of this government and the laws that are broken by illegals. The time will come soon when this anger explodes and it won't be just the blacks or hispanics marching, it will be the white community and others as well. You will social breakdown in this country and out right race wars. It's coming. When dirty criminal illegal hispanics, who have no voice and should not be given a voice in this country, march, spit and fly our flag upside down under a mexican rag, make threats to kill whites, that sir is unacceptale and they should all be rounded up by the military and a house to house search be done across this country, which is a great time to do so, and deported out of this country. And IF they return illegaly again they should face a firing squad. Sorry, but that's how I feel. Come here legaly like the others have in the past and are still doing so today. And for those who should not be here, OUT!

I think its worth noting that a large portion of the Latino population (especially in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas) are from Puerto Rico. Puerto Ricans are American citizens. Further, though I agree illegal immigration is a huge problem, I am confused and disappointed at the myopic focus on Latino illegal immigration and the complete and utter disregard for the massive number of illegal immigrants from eastern Europe and southeast Asia. Why is it that the only illegal immigrants we care about are those who speak Spanish?

I think that all believe that immigrants should leave ,should look around they work harder then most white men and women here that were born here.They have a rough life down there. They dont bother you dont bother them. I have been with a hispanic for 4 yrs and he treats me better than any lazy white man around here ever. And works harder than any one that i know.So what about the chinese and the cubins and the other people that come from other countries people give them money to start businesses and then you down hisapnics. Most Americans have a problem with all illegal immigrants. As for legal immigrants, fine. However, Americans tend to have a problem with Spanish-speaking immigrants because they do tend to refuse to assimilate into the culture. Remember, it's supposed to be a melting pot. Clinging to your language, refusing to learn English, and pasting your flag everywhere is not trying to become part of America. I have no problem with people keeping their language and teaching their kids both Spanish and English. Two languages is a wonderful gift for your kids. However, English is the dominant language of our country. Learn it. When the waves of Polish, Italian, Germans and other Europeans came here, do you think people bent over backwards for them? No, so the Hispanics need to realize that they have no right to expect it either. Our grandparents and great-grandparents earned their place in the community by fitting in and becoming a part of it. New arrivals must do the same.

Illegal immigration is never okay. However, we should only take immigrants who are willing to burn the flag of the dump they come from (e.g. Puerto Rico), learn and speak English, support themselves, and fly the American flag proudly.
In other words, if the sh*thole you came from is so great, why move here?

Frankly, I'm sick of it. I'm still infuriated by the article from El-Sentinel highlighting the fact that the Cubans turned Miami into a latin american sewer. The article went on to state - indirectly - that if you're not spanish your odds of getting a job and/or service is pretty slim. That's not acceptable. Deport them now.
