I think Obama's Greatest failing is that he got elected on the chants of "Change, Change" of GWB the Great's misrule of 8 years.

But they found that the New President has nerves of wool and not steel as he projected in the run up to the Presidential Elections.

He "promised" that the "First act" he will do as a President would be to close down the GITMO.... but he was "persuaded" to keep GITMO operating, otherwise Al Qaeda and Taliban will overrun USA!!

He was the first to blink then and he continued to blink again and again.

He made some 'Fresh looking speeches" to better relations with Muslim world and that got him a Nobel Prize, but those speeches were only for the speech sake and never had any commitment behind it.

So in the end, there is no Change at all, US forces are still present in Iraq, they are still fighting in Afghanistan, and Pakistan... and US engagement in Iran and Syria is imminent.

Once again you demonstrate your lack of familiarity with our system. The economy is not in the doldrums everywhere. You are tuning into the macro indicators which dumb down the picture. In my region, the northeast, which is probably 1/4 of the population, the economy is actually is doing quite well. In the last 4 years - sicne the receession, my own standard of living has increased.

As far as Obama, he did cave on some issues (we in America call that compromise), and on other issues he didnt stand a chance with an active Republican opposition that dedicated themselves on day one to obstructing his agenda.

The problem with GITMO was that noone wanted the terrorists imprisoned in their own home states- Cuba is all right for us. I dont blame people for that.

Dont blame the US for Iran and Syria. Those problems were not born in the USA. Historically, technically speaking, they were born in Britain and France.

1. Yes I would quickly agree with my lack of understanding your system, FIRST thing is this confusion with NAMES, for example:

a. Who can understand that “Federal Reserve” has nothing to do with either US Govt. or any Federal Agency? It is a Private group controlled by a Few Wealthy Jews.

b. IMF i.e. International Monetary Fund has nothing to with UNO and any International organization. It is once again a “private club” of a Few Jews controlled banks.

c. WB or World Bank also has nothing to do with UNO, it is once again a “private club”

But these names give them a Hallow of False Authority, while in reality these are just “Lending Organizations”

It is these select few who “declare” when recession is “in” and when it is “Out”… they have declared that recession is “In” and whole of USA and Europe is in grip of recession. You can take matters with them.

If your standard of living has “improved” under recession, I wish you will keep it secret, lest people surround your house, or may be you are from those 1 %?

I know US presidents (and for that matter, every democratically elected leader) makes lots and lots of compromises when they come to power.

This is a “curse” of Modern Democracy, where the “Only Interest” of political leaders is some how to get elected and then get re-eelcted. They make false premises and false promises to get elected and then get re-elected. So every one of them starts his carrier as a “liar and cheat”

C. France and UK to be blamed for Iran and Syria:

May be it was France and UK who started the problem with Iran and Syria, but now US has taken over and leading the pack!!

Same way US took over from France the “little problem of Vietnam” and Blown it to a Full Scale war.

There is a very strong “Pro war Lobby” in USA which wants that US should always be fighting with some one or other.
