How many chances can this guy get? This guy is an absolute waste of space. Typical thug mentally thinking he can do whatever he wants and get away with it. He isn't even that good of a player anyway.

Go Kinlaw and Royster!!!

Momma says it's just one of those pesky "misunderstandings" that seem to follow Scott out the door everyday. His playing days are over.

He was a trouble maker when he played at Parkland and everyone at Parkland knew it. He played anyway. Guys like him and used to getting away with stuff because of their athletic ability. I hope he never wears a Penn State uniform again. He should have been taught his lesson at Parkland, maybe he would be a better man today.

As I stated yesterday, this must be a very bad incident for the legal system to hold its fire, even now. Probably doing it to get all of its legal ducks in line...No thanks to Mike Nifong the jerk of Duke LaCrosse Player smear tactic infamy.

It sure does appear that Master Scott has been able to get away with quite a few things over the years. Incidents that would have you, me, or our kids piling up a legal record early and often. This could look real bad (or perhaps noble? but naive?) on Paterno for trying to fix an unfixable dumb jock who had every privilege afforded to him...

To think that your kid, my kid could strive forever in anonymity academically, pay their own way, cause no legal problems, keep their noses clean, and never be afforded the favoritism of this fumbling ball carrier. Ah, football...sports in general...we sure do revere and put up on pedestals jock types for all the wrong reasons.

Might want to start by asking that question of Mr. Sniscak...

"He was a trouble maker when he played at Parkland and everyone at Parkland knew it. He played anyway."

this is because as long as you are athletically or academically inclined, PARKLAND lets you do anything, right or wrong....

Something else went on in Austin Scott's case! Go to www.rivals.com and go to the Penn State web site called Blue and White Illustrated. On the Tom Mc Andrews Message Board, Students talk about what "really" happened. Then make people answer some real questions.

It is sad how many football players at Penn State act like this these days.

Big deal he did a rape in his private life. His personal sex life should have nothing to do with how he does his job.

Bill Clinton raped Juanita Broadrick and did sexual harassment and he was the best President ever! His private life didn't affect his job !

This should be no surprise! As people dig deeper, stories are now emerging of a very spoiled troubled youth who has been protected by coaches and parents. He has a history of involvement with dugs and abusive behavior with womem, which had been previously covered up by coaches who wanted to win a state championship and parents who wanted to get their kid a scholarship. Seems he has weakness for caucasian wome who are standing in line to hook up with him and do, but after a short time his abusive behavior comes out and he doesn't ubderstand that NO DOES mean NO. How could this behavior have gone on for over 8+ years and everyone close looked the other way?!!!!!!!!! VERY sickening and sad!!

When will someone get a clue about this guy? Unspecified team rule?? The kid was a slug and a drug dealer in High School but boy could he run. Notice how poor Austin is always in the center of "misunderstandings". If he keeps getting picked on like this, it could be a job for Jesse and Al.After all he is a victim of something. I'm sure the NFL can't wait for a chance to see Austin run.His best moves are and always will be his ability to stay one stride ahead of the law.If you live in this area and have any knowledge of the local sports scene you know what I mean.

I was thinking he would have NO shot at the NFL, but then I thought he would fit in perfectly with the Cincinnati Bengals.

let us take a moment, doing and dealing pot, trip and cocaine in high school.... went to PSU on a nice Athletic SS, but still doing and dealing the same drugs.... Red shirted first 3 years (not just the first) to get himself together..... Still druged out and getting into trouble with everything from drugs, fights, and assults.... I think the ride at PSU was unfounded, the college covered up lots for this parkland grad..... and an assult charge aggrevated or sexual is just another reason to put this hood in a cell cause nothing else seems to work.... I see this guy self destructing and maybe taking some one else with him if he doen's get the help he needs ASAP. some times covering up just for the athletics just make things worse, and this is what happened to Mr. Scott!!!!

Ok, first and foremost every single one of you who thinks they can just run there moth on a comment bored is pathrtic! I've know Austin for about 9 years now when I first moved to Parkland. None of you know him well enough to judge him. How is he a thug? Do you just say that because he is black and if thats the card your trying to pull you need to shut up! What is with you people? He doesnt have a abusive behavior either. Yeah, in high school he may have gotten away with bits and pieces of things ut no one really tried to cover them up. Everyone knows how Austin is. The teachers and staffing at Parkland let alone all his friends will stand by him 110%. Judge less thee be judged.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Taurus

Get involved in financial transactions at your peril under today's Lunar Eclipse, because certain people will use them as a stick to beat you with. For instance, if you ask someone to lend you money they'll either make you feel guilty about it or dredge up all sorts of past instances when their trust was betrayed. You would also be well advised to avoid any show of possessiveness or jealousy, even if you feel it, unless you truly don't care about the disastrous outcome.
