Full story: WFMZ

What people? What money? What hotel? What are you smoking in your hookah? This arena thing is getting comical. You all really do think there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Hasn't pieces of the masonary from the outside were albert dadouch crazy calcked the falling bricks together. I look up at the bandaid every time I pass and it still looks like the outer layer of bricks are bulging. What allentown code official signed the paperwork to allow the scaffolding to come down. That prottects the public from falling debry.

There should extend the tax zone to include the Americus hotel also.

I agree. I am VERY cautious when I walk past there. Definitely cross to the other side of the street if I am with my daughter. I the article it said that Adouche had all the plumber and electrical done like they meant the whole building. That scumbag probably only has the first floor done at the most. Funny how almost no work has been going on in that building since he bought it, but now that the Arena is going up he has ambition. I hope he doesn't finish it for 10 years. But it will probably be more like 6.

Hell no enough public funds have been spent on this pos albert dadouch. Has allentown already forgot about the money paid to local attorneys because of douches neglective abuse of public funds. There was a time limit that has expired the douch loses and let a true developer of this type of project have it for free. The one handling it surly can not.

No he can not handle this project. When he "finishes it", his hotel will be for the lowest lowlifes. I can see it already. It will be a 15 story rooming house with the lowest rates per week in Allentown. Yet another drug dealers paradise. What a shame. In actuality, he is only about 4% done with his "hotel". He will in the long run opt for the cheapest way to build it and attract Allentowns finest dope fiends and low end crack dealers. How can he say he will compete with the hotel being built at the Arena or the Holiday Inn with a straight face.

Just looked at the satalite view of the roof that looks very neglected and has always leaked under mendelsons ownership. The top floor should very nice penthouse views of the skyline while dodgeing the leaks and stepping over the bucket that catch the rain. Like i have seen on other threads about this pos he will never hire true craftman that are needed to fix the building properly. He probably hires the same people that joe clark does to make his buildings blightable.
