If you've never been to Childs Park, you should definitely put it on your things to do list. It's a great way to spend a nice summer day!

I just came home from Child's Park - Why are we looking to upgrade this park? Are we going to charge an admission fee for out of towners? Are we going to allow them to continue to leave there garbage thrown about? Are we going to allow them to disregard the signs that clearly state NO SWIMMING? People have no respect for the park now the way it is, why are we looking to upgrade? Where are the Rangers on this beautiful weekend? I did not see one Ranger - Please remind me again, who are we upgrading the park for??? Let's clean up the mess that is there right now before we look to spruce it up any! Start charging a fee for out of towners, have people wear an admission wristband - you'll see how soon people find another Free park to trash! Our taxes are high enough -

It looks like it`s part of the NPS so federal money pays so you have no local rights. Even if it was a local park once you take county, state or federal grant money you must open the gates to the general public.

i live within walking distance of childs park, but no longer go there.i moved here 26 years ago and have watched the park go to the dogs within the past 5. thank the state for advertising on the television, good job guys. lets tear down the cabin across the street and put in tour bus parking with a mcdonalds. if we enforced the existing laws, most of the animals and problems will go away.....lets upgrade. how about installing large new signs next year enforcing the law. no warnings,$500.00 fines for: drinking, swimming, littering, extra loud music or loud cursing,(no,i dont like it, to hell with freedom of speech). issue 25 or 30 tickets and the word will get around. the animals have destroyed there parks and now have invaded mine.
RANGERS, ISSUE FINES,ENFORCE EXISTING LAWS.DO YOUR JOB,ITS OK.......
P.S. MY GRANDCHILDREN WILL THANK YOU.
I hate people like you

I also live very close to Childs Park and on any nice day can't even get close to it. The "tourists" camp out before the sun comes up and take over the whole park. Enough already with the advertising.

Okay im from NJ. My boyfriend and i love to hike ,explore and relax with nature. when i go to diffrent states to hike trails and especially national parks, we dont litter. We respect whereever we go in natures sake but to not make jersey people look bad. To tell you the truth it's your intowners that dont appreciate what you have. I would love to have a hundreds of places to hike. Unfortunalty i find my own trails or i go to reservsations and State parks. Nature should not be charged! How dare you! Your right about cleaning things up there's all dead trees everywhere that need to be cleaned up for new trees to grow. Rangers are't ever there and your right about that. That's why i love to get a job as a park ranger because i would kick ass! and do awesome Trail Crew, redoing trails and making it better for the people that enjoy doing the samething that i do. Your taxes are high enough look at Jerseys. You make me real angry that your going to leave all the blame to Out towners! When it's your little intowners that have no place to go and go drink 30 packs in Child Park or any Park.....When I see outtowners come and check out our places, im not cold about it. I dont own it! If you want to start charging outtowners then they should do it for residents. You cant seclude people of what they enjoy. Your a selfish person and you must not care about mother nature you just like to talk shit you. Because mothernature would allow anyone into her world its the most wonderful thing in this earth. I wouldnt bitch and mone about it. I would Say an Indian commandement TREAT THE EARTH AND ALL THAT DWELL THEREON WITH RESPECT!!!! AND DID YOUR EVER HERE ABOUT THE QUOTE ABOUT TRASH- CARRY IN CARRY OUT! THATS WHAT JERSEY DOES....SO YOUR ALL WRONG BUDDY!!!!--From Cayla NJ reply back i would love to see what you have to say

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Capricorn

You'll have a fabulous time if you're longing to see what's on offer in the sales, especially if you want to buy yourself some new clothes or cosmetics. However, you won't pay much attention to how much you're spending, and may even deliberately avoid thinking about it. Do yourself a favor and don't go overboard if you can't afford it.
