Shame on FCI for sending 150 jobs to China. FCI should be nationally flagged as an "anti-economic-recovery " company and any special consideration they were given by local, county, state and/or federal governments should be rescinded and refunded by them. They should not benefit from any future economic stimuli. They should be made to return any awards or recognition they received for opening a plant in Mount Union. FCI is not eliminating production - they are moving production to a communist country with low wages, no civil liberties and extensive use of child labor. China is well-known for its lack of work safety regulations or enforcement... and produces inferior/deadly products including Melamine tainted baby milk and lead-laced toys. How do US workers compete with Chinese children forced to work for housing and meals in unsafe factories ?

Totally agree with you, MU Grad 66. US businesses cannot compete with other countries that disregard human rights. The solution? Our gov't must be much more forceful in our trade dealings with these countries. Remove the tax incentives for exporting corps overseas. Ban tge import/exports of goods from countries who refuse to enforce human rights laws. But then, that would mean our US businesses would see reduced earnings...hmmm...you're right. There is no solution. At least, not a "free" one.

Why is it we are the ones who invented many things. ... and yet we are importing all these items now. We are now second to all other countries...Why do we forgive them or their debts to us after war times. Why does it cost $50.00 for a light bulb for the White House when we normal American's can buy one at the Dollar store at 4/$1.00. Why is the government allowed to throw away money to companies like AIG. Where did that get them. Did they honestly think they would get away with giving out millions of dollars in bonuses...now more tax payers money is going into getting it back. What has happened to America... Land of the Rich....While to lower class works to provide for them, and the ones on Welfare will remain on welfare as well as their children.
