US 301 should be promoted as a tourist route. There is no sign at Santee on I-95 that alerts drivers that this route leads to Florida. If more tourists would use 301, traffic would be reduced on I-95 and there would be more taxes and jobs in the cities that 301 goes through. Not only that, 301 is an excellent highway and the speed limit should be raised to 65 mph.
