I am surprised that more people haven't complained... why are postal carriers allowed to drive from door-to-door to deliver the mail? With gas prices at their highest I can't stand to see these folks, who work for us and are paid by us, are allowed to deliver mail in such a manner. I feel they should be directed to get off their duffs and walk the mail from door-to-door. My mail carrier parks at one end of the street, delivers mail on one side, circles around the other and "reloads" to deliver the mai to the remainder of that block. This is done throughout my neighborhood, I can imagine how much gas is saved doing it this way.l
