I would much rather see the prescription drug dealers and heroin dealers behind bars. I've never heard of anyone overdosing on marijuana.

There's this little law regarding revenue 'sharing'. The locals get a percentage of 'the take' and the rest (most) goes to the federal DEA. The treasury doesn't get any of it. Just 'law' enforcement. They'll seize all the real property under the 'tainted assets rule' too. They get to 'share' in the proceeds from those thefts, er... I mean,'sales' as well.

Legalizing pot could be a bad thing for people that smoke pot. Think about this. The government legalizes and sells it like cigs. After a few years there will be no seeds available. The government will have them. People that grow thier own will pay a high price for seeds. And it will be cheaper to just go buy a pack of pot. Just another way the government will control us. Something to think about.

i think it's a shame that someone can receive that much time for pot and not paying his taxes than the guy down the road that preys on kids and gets less than a sixteenth of the time for raping a child. at some point we need to sit back and look at our laws and see who they really protect.

good seeds are already expensive.. google it sometime.. ive seen prices as high as 1,000 bucks for a dozen..

also, you don't need seeds to grow.. with an existing plant you can do something called cloning..
