I am sure that when the real story comes out, which will be shoved to the rear page someplace in a newspaper and never make the light of day on the controled media like Channel 10, that we will find out that this person had an existing underlying medical condition and that the H1N1 contributed to this condition causing their unfortunate death. If everyone would just look up the statistics, it has been reported that they have found that when testing the population, over 30% already had the antibody for the H1N1. This meant that over 30% tested had had the H1N1 flu, had recovered, and never knew they had it. Statistics show that over 36,000 people die from the seasonal flu each year, but most of those people have some other condition that is affected by the flu. Yet for some reason, there is no hype about the seasonal flu. Likewise, it is very disingenuous for 10TV to not have reports or segments on the numerous health issues being caused by the H1N1 and seasonal vaccines. Or how there are schools, who are manditorily giving children the vaccine even after their parents have said they do not give them permission to do so. And there have been some of those children taken to the hospital in convulsions, and some now in wheelchairs hoping they will get better. Channel 10 could talk to Dr. Sherry Tenpenny out of Cleveland who used to run the ER in Mt Blanchard Hosp in Findlay. She would make a good segment on vaccines. But that's right, why would the mainstream media want to show other points of view that are not totally in lockstep with the government. Hopefully they allow this post without censoring as well.

You made your point well.I have been wondering myself how such a small number of deaths supercede the annual flu numbers and are being used as a device of terrorism.

The flu...both...would'nt be so bad if people would just listen to what the doctors say. Wash your hands, keep your houses clean, dont swap fluids and if you are sick STAY @ HOME!! That will help SO much for our children and ourselves. It really is sad that most people get sick because of themselves or other surrounding them do not have good hygiene.

From what I have read I gather that the "hype" is that it spreads so much easier and faster than the seasonal flu *dont boo me* I am just telling ya what I have read.

The most recent information that I read was that the numbers that are given for the seasonal flu are for a full year season. The numbers that were just released stating an est 22 million cases and 6000 deaths in the US is what people are making such a big deal in just a matter of a 3 months and wasnt even the "flu" season.

I can say this I WAS EXTREMLY afraid!! HOWEVER, recently a coworker had the Ah1n1 and there are 6 of us who are in appx less than 5 feet from her for 8 hours a day. They say you can have it for 7 to 10 days before you show symptoms so that means that we were around her and all

and noone got sick its been 3 weeks now and were all just fine!

So I am not as worried as I was at all. And besides early on I had this HORRIBLE HORRIBLE cough and cold and running nose soar throat yaddi yaddi just no temp. So if that was my dose of the swine flu HEY I am okay with that lol

But she seriously did say by the 3rd day she was wishing for death and it was 100 times worse for her than the seasonal flu :( she is diabetic as well so I am just happy she is okay :)

So I watched the new movie 2012 last night!! its a must see!

As I understand it- The regular flu kills 36,000 people in the USA, this swine flu killed only 5,000 people world-wide. Those numbers say alot. It's no fun if you happened to be one of 5,000 who die but many of those already had a underlying cause or illness that the swine flu just made worse.

Actually the Newark Advocate had reported Licking County Health Commissioner said the man who died had no underlying medical conditions. But I am wondering if he was perhaps a smoker which would caused an otherwise healthy person to have a harder time with a respiratory infection. They haven't said anything so we are left to wonder.

I have often wondered the same. You would think that being a smoker would cause worse effects
