Dadeville's soloution is to like robbery. I guess they think since there no where else for residents to get there water and sewage, they will just take there money back from residents as fast as possible. They decided to double there charge for water and sewage overnight. My bill went from $55 last month to $112 this month. That kind of increase in any other business would cause you to loose most of your customers. I guess they feel that everyone will go along because they have no other option. In the current economy everyone has had to make cut backs, but I guess the city does not think they have to. This may even push some residents past the brink, and cause them to leave. In the real business world this would be called a monoply, and they would be forced to allow a competition in to bring down rates. I hope the eleted officials don't think that residents will not remember this when the next election comes around.
