Nice. This is a REAL man.....abusing someone in front of a child. And of course he is free on ROR. What a piece of trash. Then....what is the matter with the wife/girlfriend (or whatever) that she would take that kind of treatment? Get the heck out of the relationship. NOBODY needs a man that bad...and especially if you are allowing yourself to be beat up in front of a child. Anyone have a gun????

Yeh, dump the man and find a nice woman to help you. If you have all the kids you want, you have no need for a man. I hear women can take care of each other just fine.

Oh well that is sad and some things can get out of comtrol. But now he will loose his seat.

The news is making a big deal out of nothing. I know this family very well. Regardless of the crap being slinged in Gregs face, He's an outstanding person! In fact he's one of the best men I've ever known! While idiots in Blanchard were stabbing Gregs back for not attending meetings this man was working with FEMA, Fighting fires,floods, distributing food and supplys,and helping other familys rebuild in other states {including katrina} and even more as a volunteer firefighter!! Now how many of us are willing to do that? So before anyone else talks against ANY part of this family know the facts! I guess no one cares about his dedication and service to this and other communities since he made a mistake, but I will NEVER forget the things Greg Shupert has done, not only here but for this country.

cut him...3 ways...hard fast & repeatedly...just don't do it in front of the children or when he is passed out asleep...let him know whats coming and then give it to him...first time he feels the knife go in his brain will be telling him he can't believe you just stabbed him..the second time...he will know you mean binness...

Are you actually defending domestic abuse? Ridiculous!! There were many witnesses, including his own (grand)kids. How amazingly low.
If you run for public office, that should be your priority. You will and should be held accountable. You have an obligation to fulfill through your duties/meetings etc... He ran for and was elected to the office and knew what it entailed. If he wanted to do volunteer work, he shouldn't have run and instead concentrated on "do-gooding" elsewhere. Now he should have no conflicts. He should never be allowed to run for public office again. End of story.

My prayers go out to this family. It's obvious that he is more worried about what people think of him than he is concerned about saving his own family from the vicious cycle of violence. He should be removed from office, maybe then he would be forced to get see the reality of the situation and get the appropriate help. It may save a life!

Since when does doing good make doing bad ok? If you do good works then God bless you. If you do something bad you did something bad, simple. You don't get a free pass to do bad things because you did good things, that is not how it works. Bad is bad. It is not tit for tat. If you don't want to be thought bad of don't do bad things. If he did not do anything then I hope that comes out, probably not because we only hear about the bad. If he lost his temper and did something wrong even once and got caught, to bad. That's life.

I just heard he is in trouble again. Something about allegedly attacking a fireman and then punching his wife in the face again. This guy needs serious jail time and help. I am embarrassed for the town to have to call him mayor!

is that the same town that the deputy murdered a dog in it's own yard?
