they were talking about this on the radio the other day, and a mother of a child in the "walking school bus" was saying that before, they thought the 1 mile walk to school was too far for her kids, but now she thinks maybe it's not.

you think? Lady, a 4-year-old can walk a mile, let alone your 3rd grader. attitudes like this just floor me. no wonder everybody's so fat around here. walking a mile is 'too far'...c'mon, people
