My Goodness! The madness doesn't stop! Have any of the ignorant fools that have been crying about coaches, city employees, school board members and others on this website sprouted enough of a spine to confront those which whom they speak of?

Or have the people here just continued to make jackasses out of themselves and the community?

Really? I mean really? Is this what the great Hawarden Iowa has become? I have spoken my mind to the Rec Director, the WS staff, city employees and even some coaches. It isn't hard, you don't need brass balls to do it, just a mouth. I can guess everyone here has one right?

I have an idea: why don't you guys unplug your internet connections (to save the rest of us some embarrassment) and go to the gas station gossip tables where you belong! Buy a cup of coffee and cry to each other about how awful you think everything is. Join the people who are there now doing the same thing! Hell, some of the gas station staff will join you! You Hawarden haters have friends in Hawarden, more friends than I have.

Buying that cup of coffee (and maybe a pastry if you go early enough) will do more for our community than crying. It will help to support jobs, businesses and the school to help our community grow.

If our community grows, you will be happy because there will be more to complain about. It is the ultimate win win situation! So do your part Hawarden, buy a cup of coffee!
