We have the talent to be a successful football team but when the coaches call the same play nine times in a row and are unsuccessful there is nothing our players can do it does not set them up to be successful.

You cant base the coaches teaching on 1 game. Gehlen was suppose to beat us, they did now you move on to Akron. Lets not make this a problem for the coaches or the plyers! if you have suggestions on how we can help our football team than state them but being negative and starting this topic is pretty inaccurate!

That was an embarassing loss for our kids friday night. What are the coaches teaching these kids in practice. They couldn't even tackle. Then the coaches throw there hats it the air and drop the F bombs. Something needs to change. The denfense is looking worse each year of play. We got tons of talent on this team; but the defense of coaching needs to step it up and put these kids in the right direction.

Sorry, we do not have tons of talent. These are the same coaches that helped our football team to a winning record 3 years ago and probably the best team weve had in 25 years! They dont do anything differently than back than and if you think Andy Yost was the reason we were so good, you would be wrong. That team had 10 starters on the team that were seniors and they played alot on the varsity team when they were soph. and jun. They were the most talented kids on th e team. Lets wait and see after our next few games before we start worrying! It could be worse we could have (Mr. Nebraska) Gabe Tardive coaching.

yes the first quarter we got drilled but after that we played them real close only get outscored 13-7 which one of there scores was that long kickoff return for a touchdown . the kids never gave up and you can tell they are in good shape they werent getting tired at all they just got outplayed in the first quarter. also i like the spread offense they ran in towards the end of the 2nd quarter . we started moving the ball but then they stopped . i dont understand that one but since it wasnt a district game why show it to much to our district opponents . we ran that offense a little last year and i think its a good offense to run . i think the akron game is going closer then people think. just a side note to the coaches and players . dont give up keep working good things will happen. its easy to be a arm chair quarterback or a coach from the stands but its harder to play the game and coach it

I really hope the coaches are preparing the kids for Akron. I don't wanna see another blowout. With the kids we have we should be playing with the top teams with no problem. Instead we get blown out. Coaching isn't getting any better. We need a Yost or a Darwin back to get the Falcons flying high again!!!

West Sioux coaching does suck. I have heard alot about it. Also heard something about some ryan sweesaw bailing on the kids then wanting to coach again. Kids don't need coaches like that.

I also heard that if you jump off a bridge you wont get hurt, why dont you try it. Ryan schwiesow cares more for this school and football team than 99% of this town. Please dont refer to yourself as god because you are nothing but an idiot that doesnt know what you are talking about. Thank (god) he forgives even the dumbest people like yourself!!

Im not a coach grandpa. were you at the game cheering on our team. if you werent stuck at home changing your depends you would see that were just not very talented this year. It sucks but its the truth. Im not gonna say that I didnt think some of the play calling sucked tonight but it really comes down to talent and we dont have much!

Way to support the team, moron! I feel sorry for the people that call you grandpa. I guess the good thing about posting on this forum is that you can keep your teeth in a jar and not have to talk to anyone. If I were you grandpa I would stop wasting my time on here and do something with small amount of time you have left on this earth! Maybe move from the couch to the chair just to mix it up a little!

This is terrible the coaching staff is one of the best in the state. You can coach a kid how to tackle and they coach right because they tought me, and the arm tackles are not how they tought us. Always remember a coach can coach all he wants but it all depends on the kids effort to do what he wants to and to play hard. And for grandpa and god, seriously who says their god there is only one and you are far from it the way you talk, you guys need to get a life and quit harrassing the coaching staff if you don't like it don't come to the games or go to a practice and tell them yourself in person not on topix on how they should coach so they know your true indentity. Enough said!!

On the softball topic people were complaining about the parents not being involved.

I have not seen any complaining about lack of parent input in regards to the football team.

So, how come the parents get blamed for the lacking in softball but the coaches get blamed for the lacking in football?

Pete, as far as grandpa goes don't worry... Obama care will 'fix' him soon enough!

I support the team and all the coaches even if they on a average punt 14 time a night . I went out in my back yard and started punting for practice just
to get a feel for the game .

I turned on the yard lights so I could punt pass and kick for practice because I know when I get into high school there will be a punting job open for me .

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Libra

You're full of empathy and affection today, so it would be a shame not to spread it around. It's a marvellous day for a low-key get-together with some of the people you haven't seen during the past few days, because you'll enjoy having a good chat about what's been happening. Once your social duties are out of the way you'll love curling up on the sofa with a good book or a favourite film.
