Where are the national guards? Does it have to be worse then this to get extra help when you need it? Everyone else pulls together when disasters strikes but, the President has more to worry about then to help his people. Oh! wait he is helping, to rid terrorists. Sorry! With these gas prices, makes it hard even for our troops to help.

Well, it must be an *evil plan* to rid the area of *white people*.:)

But seriously, until it quits raining and the water starts to go down... there is not much to do at ground zero. You would just jeopardize troops and rescue equipment placing them in the way of the floodwater. People were *ordered* to leave. I am sure they will get help as it can be delivered. It can't rain forever... the flood will recede... and I am sure FEMA will help them out.

I hope you all have noticed the lack of screaming coming from the people of Iowa that the Federal Government has not done anything for them. A vast difference than what we heard from those folks down in New Orleans. Who are still sitting on their hands waiting for the government to save them. That has got to tell you who the real Americans are. There is nothing wrong with America that is in need of change.

From an Englishman's point of view that comment was right on the button. Hope it all improves for you there.
